Horrible horrible place!!! Went there to get my nails done with my friend and got scammed!! They kept pushing Gel polish on us. We both stated that we wanted regular nails. The jerk husband of the receptionist was doing my friends nails and started applying Gel polish and when she stated that she wanted regular he kept pressuring her about how much better Gel is. When she showed him the defect on her nail he said “no one will see it”. When she went up to the receptionist to calmly talk about the price and the fact that she was about to got over charged, and that the Guy made a mistake, the guy came up and waited til my friend slid her card to say “ if you don’t like our service DONT ever come back”. Customer Service is all about how the customers are always right and how you should always make your customers happy. This place is ridiculous and so not with the money. You can go to a cheaper place and get treated with more respect then here.

I was shocked by the service I recieved yesterday. I am a very understanding and patient person but this was ridiculous. Upon arriving everything seemed very nice. My nail tech clearly seemed in a rush and was acting very cold and unfriendly the entire time. He was grabbing my,hands and roughly buffing my nails. I have sensitive skin so it was still red and burning once I got home. My cuticles were not touched and he just eyeballed the size of the acrylic nails.The entire manicure was sloppy and rushed through. My nail tech would rudely command me  (wash, move hand, sit still, etc.) Instead of politely asking. That wasn't even,the worst of it. I proceed to the front desk to pay. There is a group of workers standing there talking. Nobody even acknowledged me. I wait and wait finally one of the women comes over and doesn't say anything just puts her hand out for the,money . I have to ask her the total. She says $45 when right in,front of my face I see it says $40 on their menu. I don't bother bringing it up I give her the money. She,shoves it in the register and walks away to continue talking with her coworkers beside her. The customer behind,me,saw everything and looked just as appalled as me. I can see that many people work there so I don't want to base this review,on,the entire business,but my experience today,was,horrible. I've never been,treated with,such,disrespect and for no reason. Thanks to those people who ruined my night off and manicure,I will not be going back. I hope nobody else recieves the service I had.

Hands down the best nail salon in Venice. My mom and I have been going here since I was 5 years old, and I have always been happy with the result. The people are very sweet, and it’s a great environment to be around. I definitely recommend going to Star Nails.

Superior service with the most professional staff and management. I’ve always enjoyed my services and my manicures last for weeks despite typing on a key board all day everyday. I’ve been going here for years and recommend them to everyone I know!

This salon is a SCAM!! Look at other reviews and you will see that they add on services and force you to use products you don't want, then proceed to charge you for it. Not to mention, they made my wife cry because she asked them to fix a mistake the guy made. The guy at this salon is a horrible snarky person who told her to not come again if she doesn't like the work done. Even though he messed it up. They also charge customers different prices for the same service. Be aware. In addition to adding on things you don't want, they proceed to up charge you. Even if you say it's not what you asked for. Watch out for the good reviews. They are posted by their friends. This is a scam service. Stay away.
