Service was fast (10 minutes) and friendly, and the price was cheaper than other smog check stations in the area. Fred was great to work with, and he gave me the discounted Yelp rate before I even mentioned it. I will definitely go back.

Had RAV4 sitting in garage for 2 years. New car battery put into place. Drove to Star Smog. Told service man car's recent history. He advised that for some reason when new battery is installed in a Toyota, it needed to be driven before the vehicle could be smog tested. I brought the car in 2 more times. He checked if the car had been driven sufficiently for a Smog Test. After driving several 100 miles, drove in again and car was both readied and certified. The owner was helpful and professional. I highly recommend this place to everyone who needs a smog check for any make and model. Fast, friendly service. The best price in town. I only paid $40 for a smog check for my 2010 Ford Edge SEL. No one can beat this.
