After new renovations at the Orang City location and assuming good customer service/quality.. came in for a “shaken” black iced tea but was not shakenphysically watched them make it but didn’t do what was written on the ticket nor when I asked to have it shaken or stirred. Lack of care and unfortunate experience after waiting to come back when reopened. Way better experience from quality and staff at the new store in Sanford at 46 and Intl pkwy.
Updating my review, this place is a mess. My wife mobile orders 2 drinks, and the app states 20+ mins. I arrive 30 mins later, and as I walk in, 1 drink is there. I wait another 5 mins and notice the screen states the orders that are complete, in process, and not started. It details that my order is complete. So I look at the mobile area again and no drink. I ask one of the ladies how much longer for my order referencing the order name, without even turning around she rudely says a few more mins we are really busy. I say yeah, but the screen says my order is done. With attitude, she turns around and repeats herself. I say that's great, but why is the order screen showing it's complete? It's been 40 mins, and she again says we're busy. Another young lady hears this and comes over and asks for the name, I give it, and she says I made that, someone must have taken it. She proceeded to remake it, rushing, and as I brought it home to my wife, she said it wasn't made correctly. But the other point is had I listened to the rude young lady I would have waited for how much longer bc no one was actually working it. This spot has to do better. ----- Unfortunately, the rating is a product of the whole experience. Starbucks itself is fine, However, the ppl that go here and their lack of common sense as drivers knock the rating down. From driving on the wrong side of the road, to entering the drive-thru from the wrong side to going down the wrong way parking lot to completely blocking right of way traffic, a large portion of customers have no regard for others. I've seen them block in parked cars, use the handicap spots all to run in for their coffee. I'm not a coffee person but my wife is, we mobile order 10 mins before arriving and are in and out, IDK if Starbucks can do anything, but something has to change. My wife has gone to the Target, Deltona or Sanford location on occasion to avoid this Orange City one.
So tell me how I’m waiting in line to get my frappe after already being handed my two cheese danishes and I see an employee go up to another with a tray of what looked liked danishes and and proceeds to tell the other employee that all of these are expired. I couldn’t hear what was said next and didn’t think anything else about it until getting home and my wife and I bit into the cheese danishes and they were so sour my wife threw up. So I proceed to call the store and ask for a manger the lady on the phone said she was and so I explained the situation and told her about seeing the employee saying the food was expired she just simply says no that was the breakfast sandwich and that nobody else has complained. She told me if I drive back over to the store “today” that she would replace them… crazy I know what I saw and those were not breakfast sandwiches they were serving expired sour danishes.
I come here all the time and the service has always been great. My order very rarely gets messed up and even when it is, the employees are quick to correct it and are very friendly. Thank you!!!!!Food: 5/5
I think they have new management. The lady who is managing today is rude and should not be there. She doesn't care about her customers and complains about how many orders people make. Not good for business, I will use another location. Thank you!
I just ordered an ice flat white at drive through,I said “less sugar please” she didn’t repeat my order, neither asked the size, I looked at screen it just show “ ice flat white “ and the price so I confirmed “less sugar “ again, she said” lots lots of sugar?” I said “ less sugar please. “ that was the third time I say it. When I drove to the window I gave the credit card , then she swiped then handed me a cup, left me “have a good day! ” I even said” you too “ … then I left and took a sip , there is NO SUGAR, also no receipt for me either! I had to work right away, I did not want to drive back and I felt she was so RUDE!
Nice crew. Pretty busy. I suggest mobile order ahead if you're on a tight schedule. Drinks are usually pretty good.
Honestly this location doesn’t get the same volume as others and yet the attention to detail is lacking across the board. What’s the point of offering a barista promise if the drink is made incorrectly the first time when it’s highly likely that it will be made the same way the second time? Paying $8 for a disgusting drink isn’t okay. This brand really continues to prove it does not care about their customers when you can’t make a drink off the menu correctly.
This location needs training on how to make a Frappuccino right and how to heat up a sandwich. They seem too wrapped up on talking about their personal lives than making a drink properly. I understand people make mistakes but I cannot count the number of times we've been handed a drink with chocolate dripping down the sides, and it's typically never mixed right. By the time we make it through the line, it is half melted and tastes like chocolate water. Not to mention this dry burnt crossaint. We are daily starbucks visitors but we will not be visiting this location anymore.
First time in my life ever there not a big flavored coffee or cold coffee person. Had the Pink Drink and really liked it. Already went back for another. Great drink.
