Located at Overlake Hospital hence, Overlake employees are mostly their clientele. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS MORNING! THANK YOU!!! The barista this morning was stellar! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND THANK YOU FOR BEING PLEASANT! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY!!!
I experienced the absolute best customer service on June 23 2017 from Cassie and Kaitlin. Admittedly, it was a slow afternoon, but those 2 girls went out of their way to make my experience really special. I went in wanting to get something to drink, but wanted to change what I would usually get. Cassie asked me what I usually order and right away she had an option Vanilla Cream Cold Brew and offered to go the extra mile in, making it completely Sugar Free from the cream all the way through, which took extra steps to prepare. It is definitely my new favorite drink. I said I wished I could have this everyday but since I don't get downtown that often, I'd have to wait until the next time. Cassie and Kaitlin both chimed in and said that I could buy the Cold Brew, the Sugar Free Vanilla syrup and began writing down the instructions, on how to build the drink at home. That moment was so special to me. I have worked in retail for more than 40 years and I can tell you that these 2 girls were exceptional at every level! I hope they see this because they merit a huge pat on the back from their boss. Thanks again girls. -Rosemary
Alex, Leslie, Trish and Micah made my day. They made me the best hot chocolate ever and cracked a few jokes to make me laugh. I Will definitely come back to this store
I come to this place very often. The staff is very nice and works really hard. Today it was very infuriating watching the personnel being mistreated by an arrogant and pedantic customer who started to shout out loud, demanding her coffee when people was waiting before her. The manager had to deal with her but she was not listening at all, she was just looking for conflict. People working at this establishment are very nice and professional. I really appreciate the service and I feel really bad by witnessing all of this today. People should hide in their houses and make their own coffee if they cannot handle other people. Geez!
I've come into this location on 4 different occasions. The first time, I just bought a sparkling water & didn't have a line to wait in. The partners working this day were really nice & helpful. The three other times, however, my drink was not made right - the drink I ordered had almond milk & they didn't shake it up at all, which is just almond water. I had to go back & ask to remake it. They made my drink hot when I asked for it iced, twice. This specific time, today on June 29, I asked for a matcha lemonade, & even tried to help the person on front register type it in correctly; I am a Starbucks partner myself. I go to the bar & see it was made wrong, again. It doesn't help that the partners here, including the shifts, are passive & complain about their work while customers are waiting. It constructs an unpleasant atmosphere that is really disheartening & upsetting to me.
I am not a fan of Starbucks since Howard Schultz and Clay Bennett did their shady deal to take away our Seattle Super Sonics in 2008 but they are a good company to their local communities. Prices are fair, locations are very clean and nice, knowledgeable staff, friendly staff, OK coffee, most locations are cozy, always a lot of parking and good bites. This is a good alternative if you can find and support your local Mom & Pop coffee shops.
If there was a zero star rating I would give that. Gal with green hair has no personality and was annoyed when I asked for my drink to have the caramel drizzle like I ordered. Treated everyone poorly. Rude. The worst service I have ever had at Starbucks!
Asked for a vanilla chai tea latte, no water w/2 extra shots if vanilla. I got coffee instead of tea... yuck. Taste before leaving to go back to the hospital. Be wise. And if you call them to get a new one or complain they never answer the phone. Thank you.
Incredibly disappointed in this location. I understand that there are times where places run out of ingredients, I really do get that. And even after having to sit there for a full ten minutes before the barista came to the conclusion that she couldn't make my drink, isn't even what my beef is about. What really ticked me off was watching the young lady making it before she realized there was no lemonade poor the scant amount of tea left in the pitcher into my cup, look at it, then walk over to the sink and fill it with a good few inches of water. When she realized I was watching her she promptly dumped it out and started again, it was at that point we came to the lemonade famine of 2016. The employee's response to the situation was "Uh so do you want a refund or....?" There was no apology for the wait, no apology for the lack of a standard ingredient, and there was no hustle whatsoever to get me taken care of once it had been established that, yes believe or not I WOULD like a refund. But hey, I did get my muffin for free. Hoo. Ray.
So. Stopped here for a quick breakfast before a doctor visit. There’s the problem. It was anything but quick. Could the barista move and slower or be any more disengaged? I don’t think so. Why am I waiting while he walks around behind the bar moving tags?
