In the last year or so I have now given this location at least 5 chances to redeem themselves b4 I write this review! I work 7 days a week and go to Starbucks all over San Diego 7 days a week. This location unfortunately does not understand customer service, they DO NOT understand that they should... "under promise & over deliver", which is what every other Starbucks is able to provide. This is BY FAR THE WORST STARBUCKS IN SAN DIEGO!!! I would know! Complaints to customer service, managers, or to the district manager does NOTHING! I live closest to them which is unfortunate since it should be the most convenient. I order 100% online because I'm in a HURRY! I walk in, I walk out, done...no waiting. EVERY OTHER STARBUCKS is ready b4 the time promised, but this store I go late 10 minutes on purpose...it's still NOT READY!!!! NEVER EVER!!!! The order has not even been started yet!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!! MANAGERS, fix the issue already, you have 10 people working, you are not under staffed! I literally hate this store!
By far one of the worst Starbuck I've ever been to. The service is mediocre, you can tell they're friendly because they have to. And the drive through takes forever. I've never been to one that takes so long to give you your order, That's the only reason they always have a long line of cars. I only go to them because it's the closest and I'm usually rushing to work. I definitely don't recommend this location if they want good and quick service.
The lady, or girl as Im not sure she is old enough to work, could not get my order right at all. I repeated it slowly four times as she was struggling, and she still asked questions which I answered again, slowly multiple times. She did not repeat the order back and of course the order was so badly messed up when I received it. Like literally nothing was right. The lady that served me the beverages gave me attitude when I said I asked for something else. This place is the pits. I love going to Starbucks because it’s supposed to be consistent all over the world. This place does not meet Starbucks standards, and thats my very well traveled all over the world and visited tons of Starbucks and got mugs to prove it, opinion.
Starbucks needs to tighten up their game! Every evening my wife likes to enjoy her favorite Starbucks drink as I drive her to work. I opened up my Starbucks app and ordered two. Upon check out, the app states to pick up my order at the inside counter, or the walk up window. Being a little pressed for time, I arrived promptly at the prescribed time stated on the app. I parked my car and went to the door where the barista motioned to go to the drive-thru. While this is normally not a problem, the line was wrapped around the small shopping plaza. In line, I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. Mark, the shift supervisor spoke to me with a seemingly cavalier tone in his glib response the restaurant closed at 8 PM, but the drive-through stays open till 9 PM. First of all, this is a busy Starbucks that closes at 9 PM??? It has no walk up window to receive my order? Mark said to go to the drive-through. I explained, it will be about 15 to 20 minute wait short staffed?. I explained to Mark that my wife was waiting for me to bring her drink and take her to work and she would be late, and I am going to be minus my male appendage! I asked mark if he could just hand my drinks through the door that were already paid for or through his drive-through window if I was able to walked up. Mark promptly told me again to go through the drive-through he could not open the door. While I understand the possible, safety concern, This is a very inconsiderate policy on behalf of Starbucks to not state on the, nor the google search! There is no pick up window, but states to pick up inside or at pick up window. Please understand I will not bring my business to such an unorganized business, and rude employees. This review does not even address the countless wrong drinks that their staff was asked to remake. Needless to say we are very very frustrated at your shift Supervisor’s attitude. Starbucks you really need to tighten up your game! And your app. Cabray
Follow my reviews, you don't want to miss where the newest Starbucks is coming up, but for now let's give our review to the Starbucks on jamacha and East main, My favorite drink to get from Starbucks is my trenta iced coffee with caramel syrup and whole milk, For some reason the last eight times I have got this it's either from the mollison location or the jamacha and East main location which is the branch I am currently reviewing, Every time the coffee has been mixed to perfection, and although sometimes they don't put enough whole milk they're always nice about giving me a little bit on the side to add to my trenta, the other drinks I get are the cookie crumble frappuccino, the caramel frappuccino, and the Java Chip frappuccino which are all excellent drinks! My favorite thing to eat here is the impossible breakfast sandwich which is absolutely flawless! the only thing is I wish they would allow you to add more egg and patties but you might as well just get two sandwiches because this is not McDonald's lol! TRUST ME DO NOT GET THEIR BREAKFAST BURRITO IT IS HORRENDOUS!!! LIKE I SAID THIS ISN'T MCDONALD'S THIS ISN'T A MEXICAN FOOD PLACE SO THEY REALLY SHOULDN'T BE MAKING BURRITOS IT IS JUST ARTIFICIAL EGGS AND VERY SMALL PIECES OF SAUSAGE AND THE TORTILLA ON THE OUTSIDE IS DRY AND CRUMBLES ALL OVER YOUR CAR, IT'S JUST A DISGUSTING BURRITO, But this is Starbucks and they do what Starbucks does best which is coffee and I have no complaints with their coffee thank you for the staff that continues to work their butts off to get us our coffee in a reasonable amount of time, Also a shout out to the Starbucks app which has worked perfectly for me this last month!
Clean and pleasant, however the in-store service is a bit slow. The breakfast offerings or interesting. The egg bites were better than expected. However, the pastries were much sweeter than they needed to be.
Man, I’ve had such bad luck at this place and have posted a poor review previously. I swore I was never going to go here again but broke my promise out of desperation, a short line, and no time to do anything else. I thought since I was only getting one thing - they couldn’t mess that up. How bad could it be? Well, they did. And at this point it just feels like they’re specifically messing with me. I mean - how can they consistently be so BAD for me? Doesn’t make sense. From frozen or cold egg bites and breakfast sandwiches, to wrong drink orders, I’m just not going back. And for reference - my drink order is an XL black iced tea, no pump sweetener, add 2 Splenda. It’s not hard. They always make it a small and double the pump sweetener, or something. I’ve rerouted to the new one on 2nd street and they’ve never done me dirty. Always correct and non-chaotic at that location. ::EDIT UPDATE:: I’m not able to reply to Starbucks’ comment below. So I’ll just say - I have no desire to jump through hoops to forward my complaint through their website. I left all the details in my reviews. If you want anything further - feel free to ask specific questions.
Good drive thru, line moved fast even though was pretty busy, and the order was ready in few min. Love their dragonfruit drink, not too sweet and taste great
This place is always sold out of oatmilk, staff are rude to their customers, mobile order option down, if they get the drink incorrect they'll roll their eyes if you ask to get it fixed. I have tried again and again but every time, it's a bad experience.
Outlets don't work! Don't think about getting any work done if you need to charge your computer/phone here. Starbucks is one of the number one places people go to get work done so this is pretty unfortunate that they haven't fixed their outlets yet. Someone else already wrote a review on this issue. If they aren't going to take the time to fix the outlets they should put a sign up to notify guests "Outlets don't work".
