Great guy, very friendly and personal.  He will take care of you and find the best deal he can. Just let him know what you are looking for and he will find it. Very generous and simple. I felt no buying pressure at all. He came the store to meet my fiancee and I after hours to get us our finished ring. Our ring was very unique and my fiancee loves it. Better priced diamonds than we could find online. Better priced than the other local Jewelry shops in Bountiful.

I have been going to this store for at least ten years. I usually have watch batteries changed and have bought several items for family members. I went in today and asked if the shop owner could put a battery in a watch my daughter got me for Christmas a couple of years ago. He couldn't get the back off of the watch and damaged the back of the watch with his pocket knife trying to get it off. I asked him if he could buff the sharp edge off of the back of the watch that he damaged. He buffed it off and then then he asked me not to bring "Cheap Watches" in his store and complained that he almost cut his finger off trying to get the back off of the watch. I said, I brought it to you because you are a Jeweler and he said, he has been one for over fifty years.
I was very disappointed. He came across very judgmental, rude, and short tempered. Maybe he was having a bad day. It is safe to say I will never go back. I went straight to the Fred Meyer Jeweler at the Smiths Market Place in Bountiful, Utah and the Jeweler reached out his hand and shook my hand, introduced himself to me and  put a battery in my watch. 
Stark acts like it is a pain in the butt to wait on you unless you are buying a big ticket item. Well, I think 50 years is long enough. Time to retire. #grumpyoldman

Went in to ask about getting my ring cleaned. Never been treated so rudely in my life. He said "bye" like three times before I was even done asking questions. Message received- I'll go elsewhere.
