I made an appointment with the owner Karen and confirmed the price for my regular gray hair covering. She told me the price as before is $65. Today ,just two days after when the job done. I gave her $100 .cash. But she only gave me $30 back. I asked her "do you suppose give me back$35? " She said to me "I raise the pice. " I told her "I just talk to you 2 days before " She didn't aresponse to me and just kept my $100 and left $30 on the counter. I never had this kind experience before.
I  feel so bad and will never come back to this place.

I have never met a more immature childish unprofessional colorist in my life than that of Raul of Starr House.  The first picture starting left to right was his first color that was amazing with warm tones after my request to look natural.  The second picture was blonder with highlights put in for my second visit that I was happy with.  The third visit he made my hair look like fake blonde out of some coloring bottle of Target.  I asked him to correct that and he did. He returned my hair briefly back to a more neutral softer tones of blonde.  My fifth visit, which is the third picture attached showing dark roots the day of my departure crying on a plane to speak in front of hundreds of people. I called him after my presentation and asked him to correct the color upon my return.  When I returned and paid another 95.00 to have my roots corrected, he informed me that I am sending him mixed messages and that he would no longer be doing my color and would refer me to someone else in the salon.  He informed me weeks later that no one in his salon could take over his unsatisfied clients and to find another salon. The final picture was the last color done in correcting my roots he left for which was done appropriately.  I have never encountered such a child and unprofessional colorist who took personally his ineptness and blamed his client for not doing a good job. With the expensive costs for color at this salon, having to pay for mistakes made, clients deserve much better than the treatment received by this particular colorist who allowed his ego, his pride to navigate his unprofessionalism!
