This is my mechanic and I am really pleased with their services. They feel trustworthy and thorough and they do the best they can to keep the prices affordable. My one hit, and it's not a negative, just a statement, they want you to do your service appts at the 3,000 mile marks. I am quite attentive to my car but I do the 5,000s. Older cars needed them at 3, but anything made after '99 I feel can wait til 5. I checked with my Toyota dealer and they agreed so take the service requests with a grain of salt. It's not a bad thing at all to do 3,000, I just don't think it's necessary.

The team at State always reliably attends to all *necessary* maintenance and repair work. They track all the issues identified over time and follow up in subsequent visits. 
Work is done right the first time, every time. 
This quality and continuity of service and attention to detail has made me a regular customer. 
Loaner vehicles are available also, which would be a huge help when/if I needed it.
Highly recommend State Automotive. 

Others mentioned they are very courteous, cost conscious, communicate well and explain issues clearly. I agree with all of that as well.

We've been taking our two cars to Andrew and his excellent staff for many years now.  One of our cars is a '96 Caravan, which, with their careful maintenance, is running as well as it did  when it was newly broken in 20 years ago.  They are pleasant to deal with, and go out of their way to make being temporarily carless as painless as possible.  When that attitude is combined with competence, how can you beat it?
