My name is Richard Derrick and I would like to take this opportunity to express my heart felt gratitude for the excellent services provided by State Farm Insurance and by our agent Mr. Al Chen.  I have been a customer starting in 1968 with an Auto Insurance policy, in 1972 we added Home & Property Insurance then over the next twenty years the addition of three more vehicles to the Auto Insurance policy. (Our sons needed their own means of transportation.)  The final two additions to our family needs came in 2003 when I purchased a boat and in 2009 when I rolled over my Ira account with State Farm.

There has been several occasions when I was very thankful that we had auto insurance especially with State Farm.  They came to our rescue no questions were asked other than how may we help. The boys had been in a few wrecks in their earlier years and I was sure that our policy was going to be canceled or the premiums were going to be sky high.  But, that did not happen the response was what may we do to help and what do you need? I remember in 1994 while the wife and I were at the theater a hot water pipe in our kitchen burst. Water was everywhere and the tile flooring was coming up.  Again a quick call to Al Chen and within two days the piping was replaced along with a new tiled floor.

Al makes it a habit to call on a regular basis to keep us apprised of policy updates, sends his best wishes on our birthdays and sometimes just to talk.  As one can see I and my family are very satisfied with State Farm Insurance and especially with Al Chen.

I have been a State Farm customer for more than 40 years. Al Chen is my current State Farm agent located in Richmond, California. I have had the pleasure of Al servicing both insurance as well as other financial products and tools offered by State Farm. I can honestly state that during my relationship with State Farm, Al Chen has been the most personable, knowledgeable and helpful representative that I have had the pleasure to deal with.
After my past few years with Al, I can state without hesitation that not only is he extremely knowledgeable but he is also honest and trustworthy. He has always been available as an agent or as a friend. I highly recommend Al and the services he and his team provide.

I have had Al as my insurance agent for a number of years now.  He and his office have always been there for me whether it was changes to a policy, adding a policy or  to answer any of my questions.  They always take the time to explain in details.  If you want someone who is honest, accessable and reliable, he is the agent for you.  It is a pleasure having Al for my insurance needs!!!!

Al has been very good at handling my life insurance, providing guidance, and understanding my situation and needs. He also comes to me to meet making it easier to handle. He even reviews my situation periodically without my prompting. As a result, he alerted me to something I needed to take care of, and we did.
