This company definitely should not be called your "good neighbor." In fact, I've come to find out it's quite the opposite. I purchased my home as a 1st time home buyer and dealt with Courtney in obtaining insurance coverage from State Farm. Unfortunately, I should have read the reviews regarding Shannon Till and the State Farm insurance agency. The reviews are just horrible and I am now experiencing the same type of services. What I thought was piece of mind is actually no coverage. My home was hit pretty severely with Hurricane Irma. I have a toddler and I am also 7 months pregnant. During the hurricane, winds were at gusts of over 150 MPH and the Orlando area was hit pretty bad. My neighborhood was badly damaged... trees were downed and roadways completely blocked. During the hurricane, we actually had to hold back one of the french doors that was taking on some water from the strong winds. My doors were actually starting to buckle. When the winds became too strong I became fearful and moved my family into the home's safe place, under the staircase. A lot of water came into my house. The next day after the storm, we surveyed the property and damages. Trees down, gutters and shutters ripped off, and approximately 60 roof tiles were gone. I felt fairly comfortable with my policy and I assumed we were covered with State Farm Insurance. I contacted the agent at State Farm and Shannon Till, the owner of the agency, spoke with my fiance and assured him everything would be fine and we were in good hands. At first, State Farm advised us they could not even get an adjuster out to look at the property for 90 days. When we expressed that this was not within reason, an adjuster named Wilbert called us. He came out and assured us he would do a great job and get everything covered. He even called the next day and advised us he had the wood floors covered due to water damage. He was very polite and nice, at the time, and gave us reassurance that things would be fine. However, he has now called us to say that the supervisor "changed his mind" and the floors are not covered because it's considered flood damage?!? Really!?!? Our house sits way up off of the ground and our front patio is over 3 feet higher than the ground. You have to go up 4 steps just to enter the home. No water was anywhere on my street or in my yard. The water that came into the home was not caused by flooding, it was caused by the hurricane gust winds pushing the french doors open and forcing rain water inside the home. Yet the adjuster states the supervisor is claiming it's from a flood. He claimed that he cannot approve my claim because it may open a can of worms. If they don't deny it based on "flooding" then they would be on the hook to replace the floors. Super professional, right? Just the kind of insurance I was looking for.... They also state the roof is not really damaged. Yet, 2 different roofing contractors are stating the roof needs to be replaced. My community Town Hall has also sent State Farm a letter saying the tiles cannot be matched and the roof needs to be replaced. I thought State Farm had good reputation but from our experience so far, nothing is covered and the adjuster basically has a loop hole or clause in the policy to be able to deny everything and anything. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Shannon Till (read all of the terrible reviews, not just mine). Pick an insurance company that will actually provide coverage for you and not deny every single thing. They were very eager to take payment and secure the policy when I purchased the home, but when a true disaster hits they are not your good neighbor, they are your disappearing neighbor. I now have to waste time and money to hire an attorney to make sure they do not take advantage of me while I am 7 months pregnant dealing with a damaged home.

She has been working with my mother and her insurncae. Everytime I have ever had to call on behalf of my mother I was impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly her staff are. Truley a good neightbor!

Customer services is at a zero, Will screen your calls and never answer your emails, wasted my time, corporate transferred me to a new agent.

What a great team of folks to work with. Actually had fun discussing insurance! Very responsive, they dropped everything to help me. Shannon seemed genuinely concerned in taking care of my needs. Would highly recommend...
