Been fighting my FAP and CDC denial for 14 months. 3 hearings all found the department was not acting on policy and that the information they were using was false. Since my case has been habitually falsified to disqualify me for benefits I feel I have been discriminated against and voice this over a dozen times. They sent an investigator out to investigate ME! Then denied that I was being discriminated against & that the dept. makes mistakes and perhaps I've been treated unfairly. After the third time being ordered by a judge to redetermine if I qualify they sent me paperwork with proofs due the exact date it was stamped by usps setting me up for failure so they can say it's my fault for not turning in paperwork. I see you Inkster DHS, and I am not going away. If any other people feel discriminated against please put it in writing and send to DHS fax in Lansing.

I do not have one good thing to say about my experience with this office. My worker does not return my phone calls. I didn't find out that they cancelled my kid's insurance until over one month after it was already cancelled. In fact, they only paperwork I received was that my kids insurance was ongoing. They said I missed my phone interview, and in fact I did not. I even left a voicemail stating that I was calling in for my phone interview. Then they requested pay stubs/bank statements. I faxed both mine and my SO at the the SAME TIME, and then i got another denial letter that they did not receive his - but mine were not even mentioned. Also... they only denied 1 of my 3 kids. Unprofessional. Unorganized. Rude. I will be attempting to contact a supervisor tomorrow. Hopefully they are more competent than those who work on cases.

I agree! Worst place ever!!! My worker is T.Brown..worst case worker. Very rude and unprofessional. Not sure why or how she still has a job. They are supposed to be there to help people..they do what they can to cut you off. She has no idea how to do her job!! I have had problems with her from day one. Just a note...no use complaining to supervisors, they are just as bad. Only gave it one star because it made me..given the choice I would choose none. And why the heck doesnt anybody answer when you call..rings until it hangs up. Unbelievable LOL

The young woman who is my worker was so rude. I paid taxes all my life and at age 52 I need help that ive contributed into. She was not professional and it makes me wonder what schoo let her graduate. Why would they hire someone who cant even speak properly. Who says um on their voicemail. I will be calling her supervisor tomorrow. Why would you disrespect someone who needs assistance for any reason. You dont know what we are going through. Who raised this girl with a job that she obviously cant handle? Wolves?

Was there between 9:41-10:34 am 10/16/17 and was surprised (after trying three of them), none of the computers were on. After I got someone to turn them on, a block kept coming on saying computer could not scan my documents. I turned to the copier and found it could only do copies individually as the doc stacker was not functional. After two other people did their copies, the copier said it "needed service". It was only after the security guard, Ahleisha, came over to assist that I was able to make my copies. I then gave them to the individual behind the glass that took them. I can only pray that they reach my worker (who works somewhere in this office). I thanked the security guard that went above and beyond her duties. Thank you Ahleisha! You are the only benefit to this office.
