I have lived in different areas of Fort Wayne and have used various veterinary clinics dependent on what side of town I live on. Hands-down East Side Vet is the best!! The employees are so nice!! Very caring, professional and consistent! Dr. Andrist is exceptional. She is thorough, compassionate, Great communicator, knowledgeable, and she’s just a wonderful human being. I would continue going to this vet regardless what side of town I live!
My furry friend was having an emergency, and they got us in and took care of him in a flash. He went into emergency surgery, they took such good care of him, but unfortunately his little body couldn’t handle what was going on. Our vet tech Courtney took such good care of him, and the whole staff even got us a card after his passing. Since then we will only take our other two dogs here, and I make sure to ask for the same vet tech, she knows what she’s doing!
Love the staff, from behind the desk to veterinarians. They are caring and knowledgeable. They follow up the next day when a medical issue exists This trip was just routine but have been bringing my dogs here for years. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I love every person at East State Vet. They love our babies, and take care of them like their own. It's often like going to a party when we come in, rather than the vet. They're so excited to see our pets. They treat them like family and I trust them so much. Thank you!
I feel like our pets always get the very best care at East Sate Vet. We have been going there for over a decade and have always felt that our dogs are treated very well. They are upfront about their pricing and are good about not having hidden or extra fees after procedures. We appreciate all of the wonderful staff there!
Such a caring staff. When i had to have my lab put down, the staff was the absolute best on giving us time, being empathetic, and just understanding how hard it was to have to do. Shortly after, I had another lab come into the home, and of course, this is where he goes for his appointments. He loves the staff here!

I had my kitten neutered there. They took very good care of him & contacted me to let me know how he was after the surgery. They took time to explain the after surgery care at home. I am very pleased with this veterinary office.
Best Vet Office in town. We've lived here 8 years and never had a reason to find a new vet. The staff is friendly, efficient and professional. My cats let me know if they don't like a vet. Lol.
I don’t know how anyone can give less then 5 stars. I have had so many good visits here for my pets! Yes pricey but it’s a doc for animals! Amazing staff. They never give less then 120 percent
