The staff has never been anything but nice, respectful, and so far, fair.  I bought a leaf blower there once.  A month later I saw a nicer one in the store, they let me trade in my old one and gave me FULL PRICE I paid for the first one towards the old one.  You just can't ask for better than that. And to James Gregory who had a very disrespectful and I suspect unfounded and uneducated comment about these people and Pawn Shops in general - if people are rude to you, I bet it is YOU, not them.  I'd bet you frequently earn disrespect with these kinds of comments.

All pawn shops are disrespectful and rude and impatient.... I'm so glad for these new internet sales and purchase apps. Like offer up.... No need for these crooked pawn shops anymore. They are obsolete now and I'm so glad for that now.

We have been dealing with Mr. John and his incredible staff for almost 16 years now. We have a bad habit of showing up on their doorstep and giving them just a couple of days to custom make a piece of jewelry, resize a ring or to buy ammunition so I can go hunting, and they come through for us, time after time. 
Excellent staff, and more importantly, true friends!

And if we go to Statesville from Australia just to buy jewelry from Mr. John, that really says something!

They will work with you when you are down. Wonderful atmosphere to shop. Very good people personalities.
