Saturday about 6:30 pm, I selected a mans shirt  from a rack with three similar shirts under a sign that read"30 per cent off, discount taken at the register".  After standing in line with 4 people behind me, the checkout girl informed me that the shirt was not on sale and called a salesperson to verify at my request.  I lost my place in line to prove to the sales woman about the sign.  When I showed her where I had made my selection, she reached up and turned the sign around to the back and said the sign was in error.  
  No apology.  I was embarrassed to have this experience observed by the people in line behind me.  The old store in Seminole mall had a wonderful staff of caring employees and I enjoyed shopping there.  This new store is a barn with no class and extremely rude service and does not deserve a single star .

Very happy with experience. The gentleman that helped me was friendly, and even saved me an extra $10 with a coupon.

Very poor customer service at this location. They don't want to honor RetailMeNot coupons for Stein Mart and had sale signs posted over items that they claim was a mistake. Cashier was rude and argumentative. Had rather drive across town to the other location than ever shop here again!!!
