My husband and I recently met with Dr. Forner and were very impressed with his professional manner. He spent a great deal of time listening to both of us and our concerns. His detailed explanation of my husbands' health issues were very comprehensive and he answered all of our questions. Since our visit, I have recommended him to friends. We feel fortunate to have him practice in Truckee.

Dr Forner is very detailed. I am very lucky to have found a Dr that takes everything into consideration. Dr Forner does not just through out any diagnosis without the proper testing to support it. I don't need a conversationalist I need a knowledgeable neurologist, he is just that.

After going to see this doctor at 35 when diagnosed with epilepsy I was disgusted that I and my husband could be treated as bad as we were during a visit! Doctor Forner continued to ask me about what happens during my seizures I told him repeatedly that I had brought my husband for that very reason. He was present during all of my seizures! Doctor Forner told my husband he had to be quite so much I can't count! I am a confident woman and have no problem speaking for myself! That being said my husband took the day off work to be with me at that time! On this particular day I desperately needed my husband to speak for me and he was just absolutely not going to be heard by this man! I couldn't tell him anything because I was unconscious during all but the first 5 very scary seconds! The worst part is how long it takes to get into a neurologist. He was so pompous and rude! I decided that I was going to wait to get into someone else while I started taking the medicine to hopefully stop the seizures. The medicine he prescribed to me was Keppra Dr. Forner knew I was a gastric bypass patient. This medicine made me gain over 80lbs of my wait back. Even though I was disgusted with the wait issue the fear of another siezuer was crippling my wait tilted the scale at a gain of 100lbs. At this time Doctor Forner told me he was closing his practice because Obama ruined his Chico medical practice. At this time I found out from my general practitioner that I could start seeing him for my epilepsy. I told my GP that I couldn't go on with the same medication! I was completely convinced it had been the reason for my wait gain. So he changed my medication to another nonnarcotic -epilepsy medication. I had never been so grateful! inside of 5 months I had lost all the wait I had gained. I feel like just because someone might have a medical degree, if they won't pay attention to what is happening right in front of them, they might be the most wrong person to give advice in the world!
