A few months back I wrote a rewiew explaining my experience with Stern Law group,  not to bash the firm, but to express my concerns. One concerns is how I became a client of Stren Law Frim, was how someone just called and kept asking could he come to my home, even after several times telling him I was too busy at the moment, now this was shortly the day of my accident April 19th, 2017. I had Google some information just to see what my options was due to the person's that hit me insurance company act as if they was giving me the run around. Shortly after, I get a call form a man from Stern Law Group, I finally agreed to his visit and before I knew it and without research of this Law firm I signed some papers. Because I wasn't informed of anything and after several calls to check the status of my case and either not getting a reply or having a rude rep, I decide to write a review; well that got someone's attention and I was asked to come in for a set down, my reply was that I didn't have the gas money to ride out that far from where I live, but was told that if I can make it there they would  reimburse me for the gas, which I did decline. Now, not to my surprise, I was asked to remove my review; because the Lawyer sound convincing, assuring me that he was on my case and that most of my records has come in, I agreed. Here it is several months later and I'm back at square one with this Law from, no info, no follow ups,  no help with gas to all the appointments I had to make it to. I even asked for a small loan to help with bills when I was almost evicted and that request went ignored. If you call and given a voicemail, they asked that you don't call  multiple times about your case, to me that is a red flag. At this point I think it will be another year before I see any compensation from my accident that happen almost a year ago. I do not want to take another trip to see the lawyer unless its to pick up my check.

Ambulance chaser stay away big time this guy is a crook and his old lady is nuts for staying with him after what he did he also represented me one time a long time ago and I seen my dad put him up against an elevator door and Conroe Texas you remember me Mr. Stern remember $0.10 on the dollar from Iowa what was left of it anyway you're a joke dude

I had a personal injury claim and was rear ended and suffered injuries. Joseph Richard Corteguera was the attorney handling my case. He did not care about anything but getting his money. I was left with outstanding bills and no money for future treatments. This attorney is rude and has no manner at all, he talks to you like you are stupid and beneath him, he shows no concern about his clients at all, and forget ever getting your calls or emails returned.  
I've evidence that he dealt in an underhanded way, and filed a complaint against him with State Bar of Texas. I would NOT recommend this untrustworthy lawyer to anyone.

This firm is a good professional team and I would recommend it to family and friends. Denise was always very welcoming and well mannered. She addressed me with kindness and always greeted me with a smile.

Easily 5 stars! Beyond helpful and was able to get my case finalized very quick. Brittany in bookkeeping and Aracely in the intake department helped me. I would personally like to thank this firm for everything! Highly recommend.
