I've dealt with Steve for years, have never had an experience other than above and beyond... to the negative reviews - I highly doubt your experiences. Shop is appointment only... inconspicuous location. Have seen Steve deal with my private students and parents first hand - I've come along for every purchase - 10 double basses in the last 4 years or so, everyone has been happy with both the purchase and shopping experience. Steve will continue to be the only place I send my students. Thank you Steve!!

I put my guitar on consignment with Steve about 2 years ago. He lent it out for long spans of time without my permission and eventually sold it without informing me. Then he said he needed the money for his own bills, so he couldn't pay me. He's obviously got problems that should keep anyone from trusting him. I'm taking him to small claims court over it.

Great collection of basses, probably the largest in the U.S., friendly and knowledgeable!

We bought an upright bass here and couldn't have been more pleased.  The selection is amazing, and Steve was helpful and patient.

The store does still exist but it's a bit difficult to find.

This store probably doesn't exist any more.  I went by and looked carefully but couldn't find it, called the number multiple times and nobody answered.
