Paul is a great attorney and a cool dude.  He has represented me in a divorce.  Two years later my ex was not following the court order and we had her held in contempt. Then my bad, I got a dui. He had it reduced to a Dwai. 1 month no license and 6 months probation. 
I read his other reviews and the bad ones must have been made up. He is a great lawyer. He has been fair about his fees and his time. 
I was able to pay him off.

Paul was very short with me and actually hung up on me apparently because my case is not a money maker. What a complete jerk to behave like that to someone trying to deal with a hit and run that isn't their fault. Thanks for helping me figure out who I should call because I have never had to deal with an accident like this before.

Paul Stevens is a one of a kind in his profession. There are no words I can say to express the gratitude I have for Mr. Stevens. He is very passionate about his job as well as compassionate about his clients. He has been a detrimental part of my life and keeping my family together. Mr. Stevens is someone you definitely want in your corner.

BEWARE of Paul Stevens and his "legal assistant"!!! I came to Paul with a custody case and during my free consultation he told me that my case would be easy and very managable. Things went array when I called him a second time for a simple question and he was rude and said he's done answering questions because I hadn't hired him yet.  So Paul told me he could get started on my case if I could pay half of the retainer fee of $750.00. I told him all the money I had goes towards my son and that it'd take me a week to get $750 from family and selling a few of my possessions. I called on a Thursday to set up an appointment and his legal assistant set it up for me to come in the next day on Friday. I was right on time for my appointment and paid Paul  $750.00. He rushed me through a contract which he just scribbled his signiture and didn't have me sign anything which I thought was weird. Then right afterbI asked him the same question I called him on the phone about that he didn't answer. He told me he was to busy to answer any questions and that I have to come back Monday. I was uneasy about having to wait to find out anything but went ahead and waited until Monday. So when I met Paul and his legal assistant on Monday they both did a complete 180 and were both rude and disrespectful. They both made rude uncalled for comments about my job and about me being a single parent. He then told me that he wouldn't be able to help reach my goal and that all he can do is get me 50/50 joint custody even though I'm already the primary parent. I told him that this is my sons life at stake and that all of a sudden he's telling me that he can't get me anything more than 50/50. I walked out of his office 45 minutes later devastated and felt like I could have done better by myself. I went into his office the very next day and told him I no longer wanted his services and that we weren't on the same page at all. He got very defensive and angry and said I was making a mistake. I asked him for my retainer back for besides the 45 mins of his time and he then asked what I thought was a fair amount to get back. I told him it wasn't about what's fair its about what I owe him and asked him to calculate how much I owe him for 45 mins. He told me I owe him at least $500 and I told him to show me the contract and he told me no and to leave his office. He told me to send him an email dismissing him from my case and that he'll send me a check in 2-3 days. I never saw my contract or a itemized bill of his services and more importantly my money.  HE STOLE $750 FROM ME!  That money was for my son and it was all I had and they just kept it. These people are crooks! DON'T TRUST PAUL STEVENS!  Horrible people!!!

Paul did an outstanding job on my difficult divorce.  He and Karen where always quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend.
