Pam at Stewart was wonderful! She promptly contacted me and returned my calls to ensure my moving date was on-track. I had a full pack and load which included a packing team, loading team, and driver. Stewart sent 6 team members out to pack me out. Pam made me feel very comfortable with the dates and the packing team and driver arrived on-time! (A little early actually - which was perfect since we had a full day ahead of us.). The first team - the Packing team was very professional, calm, attentive, and courteous. They made me feel really comfortable. There were a few items I didn’t want them to take and they listened very attentively. None of those items were packed. If I owned my own business, I would hire them. Driver of the truck was also a rock-star performer, easy to talk to about the move and very detailed-oriented. He assured all my belongings were inventoried and the truck was loaded tight. He also worked very hard. The loading crew was average. Not as good as the packing crew; but, loading is really hard work. I’ve done a few moves myself - so definitely appreciated having all the support from Stewart to make this move easy! Overall, an exceptional experience. Thank you Stewart!

We reached out to Budget Movers on December 12, 2017 (Yes we know, you’re here to read about Stewart ). We had used them once previously and experienced a very professional company. One that prides itself with “providing efficient, reliable, quality moving service”. They gave us a quote the same day I think. We originally were told by both realtors we would need to settle and move the same day. On 19 Dec we locked in our moving date of 30 December. As with many moves flexibility is the key. On the 27th of December our realtor told us that settlement would be moved back to the first week of January. This was due to our buyer not having an efficient mortgage broker. He hadn’t completed all of the necessary paperwork in time. We now required the buyer to give us 2 days rent back, free of charge. This would take some of the unnecessary burden off us of settling and moving the same day. We notified budget of the scheduling change the same day, 27 December. On the 2nd of January, after keeping in touch with Budget, we re-confirmed a revised move date of 6 January. With no additional communication back to us we received a revised quote with the 6 January date on it, again the same day. Things were looking good. One day later, which equates to 3 days prior to our scheduled move date, we received word that the buyer’s broker messed up again and would not be ready in time. This time they found 15 different documents had not be filled out by the buyer and some required quite a bit of work to complete. We notified Budget same day, in writing, and expressed our sincere appreciation for their flexibility. We also stated that the delay was not our fault, but on the buyers side. On the 5th of January we sent an email stating that we can lock in the 10th as our move date. That’s same day we received an email from Budget stating they still had us scheduled for the 6th. Then two more emails were sent by them with a tone. One stated, “You were absolutely scheduled for Saturday 01/06/18. Letting us know by email one day prior on 01/05/18 of actual scheduled move date which was 01/06/18 that you’re cautiously optimistic for being locked in for the 10th of January is highly unprofessional.” This was just not true. We have the documented emails. Did they think we wanted to push our move date back again? We were inconvenienced just as much as they were, truly even more. We sent two additional emails, on 5 and 7 January, apologizing again (even though it wasn’t our fault). I also called and spoke with Mr. Lee about it. While on the phone he got very upset and wouldn’t rationalize. On 8 January, just two days prior to our officially scheduled move date, we sent another email with an agreed upon revised furniture list and another apology. They were still angry and unresponsive. With that we bailed from hiring them, lost our $100 deposit on principle, and went with Stewart Moving and very glad we did. Pam McFarland, customer service rep, was just that – focused on customer service. She was efficient and reliable. We hired them one day prior to our move and they handled it like a beast. Amazing what can be done in 24 hours when you care.

The delivery of my belongings fast. I was able to schedule and receive everything within 24 hours. The man who delivered everything brought it all in and made sure everything was there and in good condition.

This company was very accommodating and professional. Friendly and sweet as well! A pleasure to do business with them. Would recommend them to any friends or family!
