Buyer beware! My daughter is a freshman at OSU this year. Due to stress she had a severe acne breakout. I made an appointment with Stillwater Dermatology to help her during this time with acne issues. I was also hoping she continue seeing a dermatologist for the duration of her college experience, if needed. As soon as she arrived and got checked in they started in asking her if the could do a full body exam etc.. Being young and not realizing the implications, she agreed. I realize she should have said "No" or "Call my mom". I do feel like the office should have given me a courtesy call due to the fact  #1- she was a new patient, #2- I had made the appointment and ONLY asked for her to get an acne consultation, #3- It is my insurance she is on. I am paying the bill! $700 dollars later in out-of-pocket expenses, I am pretty upset about the whole thing! I hope this helps other families which may be in the same situation with their son/daughter. We live out of town and just wanted a local dermatologist, (we could trust) to help my daughter through a tough situation. Ask lots of questions and let the office know prior to appointment your expectations. Will never use this office again!
