Water Damage AND Ventilation issues!! This house looks great when you buy it and the staff super friendly but after you are bound to the house and your money has been collected, they are idiots. We had water damage show up after only 3 years, the master shower was leaking internally and it showed up by damaging the window below it on the first floor, damaging the wall and the moldings around the wall. The plumber who came to fix it (because we were out of warranty of course), said only morons put a master shower head on an exterior wall in a location where it snows. He said it was probably frozen over a few times and eventually failed. We also were one of the hundreds of homes in the Forest Grove, Oregon area who had mold within the first few years in our attics because of improper ventilation, poor design and bad construction. Hundreds of us had to have a Remediation company come, clean out our attics, wash and dry them and reinstall insulation. I was very upset to learn my young children had been living under an attic full of black mold for YEARS before a homeowner found it themselves and warned the rest of the development. RUN AWAY from this builder.

We started the process by selecting a floor plan and adding the options that we wanted to make the house our home. Communication wasn't the best from the start. We found out that they had actually started construction by driving through the neighborhood one day. The "Hand off team" did a pretty good job on the delivery. during the 90 day walk, we mentioned that there were slurry stains on the exposed aggregate driveway. We were told that they would take care of it at the 1 year warranty walk. The answer at the 1 year was that since it was an appearance issue and not a structural issue, it wasn't covered. I have been in commercial construction for well over 30 years and our company mission statement is "Delight the client", since we do a lot of repeat business. I guess their mission statement would be ,"One and done".

I have just closed on my family's multi-generational ADA-designed home at Stone Bridge Pacific Crossing community. . . and I am genuinely ecstatic about my great experience with Stone Bridge product and staff! As my family and I move in, we're all excited about the visible quality of our new home. And I am particularly happy about my buying experience with Stone Bridge community managers Gary Cook, Eric Shepherd, Laura Turner and Doug Webb. Gary, Eric and their team helped me through the entire process from first view of home, preferred lenders and finally through closing. This is the 8th home I have bought over the years across the US, and so I have plenty of experience to compare. Stone Bridge Team's personal, professional and very quick responses to every one of my requests and questions have exceeded my expectations. Thank you Gary, Eric, Laura and Doug!

MOLD & WATER DAMAGE! Just talked to stone bridge again and here is an up to date review of how they handle their clients. Water was found to be leaking for months from the upstairs shower pan and resulted in water pouring out of our downstairs ceiling lights. This is a clear sign that the water has found a path out of the shower and through the walls and into our downstairs living room. They came out and removed the shower pan and you could see mold in plain view. I requested that they have the area where the water travelled to be inspected for water damage and mold. They refused to check between the walls for mold or water damage, and added that I can hire and pay for the areas to be inspected on my own. THIS IS THEIR MISTAKE, and I have to pay for it? This company is horrible and cheap in every way possible. I thought I was buying quality, but I'm being passed around from person to person and being bullied instead. I'm Extremely worried about the possibility of toxic mold and the health of my family. I'm going to have it inspected by a professional and PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THEIR mistake!

I have been very impressed with Stone Bridge's commitment to building homes of lasting value. Consumers rarely see, or ask, what's behind the walls of their homes. It is behind the walls that most of the features that result in a healthier, more comfortable, durable, and energy efficient home are found. Stone Bridge is dedicated to delivering energy efficient and sustainable homes that will cost less to operate and maintain. And they continue to improve their construction specifications and quality control processes. I've seen the third party software analysis of the performance of the homes, and here's what the independent numbers show: From July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 the average Stone Bridge home was a whopping 23.8% more energy efficient than the state building code, which is already very stringent! From July 2011 to June 2012 the average Stone Bridge home was 21.7% more energy efficient than code. Over the last four years the average Stone Bridge home was 19.45% more energy efficient than state building code. These are impressive numbers when one considers that the vast majority of builders just construct homes to the state code minimum standards.
