I wish I could rate this place zero stars. I've lived here at Stonebridge/The Brook for over two years and I have always had the same complaints with them. Their rent is overpriced and not worth paying considering they do not treat their tenants with respect. I have been in contact with the leasing office/maintenance department for over a week now concerning my air conditioning that broke [most likely because it was a crappy system]. They initially placed a portable air conditioning unit in the bedroom (which does not circulate throughout the rest of the apartment WHATSOEVER), telling me that it would only be there for a few days. After less than an hour after the unit was installed, parts started to fall of of the unit, making it virtually useless. I also have told them two to three times since early this week that my shower is not draining properly, and that because of this my boyfriend and I are unable to shower in our own home. About two days after entering that maintenance request, I called to check in on the status of the request only to find that it was never entered. This morning, I went online and submitted new maintenance requests hoping that somebody would call me about them. After not hearing anything for four hours, I called into the leasing office and spoke with an extremely unpleasant leasing office staff member who seemed annoyed at the fact that I found these issues emergent. Completely inconsiderate of the fact that I have been waiting on these work orders to be completed for days. He told me that my requests are ones that are usually completed during the week, and that I would probably have to wait until during the week for a technician to hear my request. After explaining that my situation was an emergency, he said he would call maintenance. I asked if he could call me back after speaking with maintenance and he did call back saying the technician would be at my apartment "right away". It has been four hours and I still have not heard from a technician. Finally, I went to the leasing office a few moments ago to speak with somebody in person about my incomplete maintenance request, and ended up speaking with the assistant property manager who advised me she would call the on-call technician and ask them to come by today to check in on the HVAC repair, and that she would mention the shower drain issue to them and that maybe the technician could work on that today too. If not being able to shower in my own home is not an emergency maintenance request, I don't know what one is. And the fact that the leasing office has had this information for days along with the fact that my rent price was just raised by $50 after renewing my lease, you would think management would be a little more courteous when it comes to making their tenants comfortable. My experience at Stonebridge/The Brook has been everything but pleasant, and the only thing keeping me at this complex is my inability to financially handle moving costs to move to another area. I deeply regret my decision to stay here, and strongly advise anybody from moving into this complex.

0 STARS! moved in and apartment was not even cleaned. leak in the apartment and my carpet got soggy. they did not even come to clean it. It is infested with MITES and centipedes that get in food and shower. FACULTY AND HEAD IS RUDE AND UNINTELLIGENT AND DO NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN A PROPER BUSINESS. they do not even fix the mess they provided. ATTENTION: If you are looking to make money & have time please move here and you will have plenty of reasons to sue & WIN

Colonial Park/Stonebridge Apartments are worthless. The AC in the summer can't keep up with the heat because the system is out of date & your electric bill ends up being $150-200/month. My neighbors beneath me were noisy - dog always barking, them being verbally & physically abusive to each other at 3 AM & during the day when I'm off. They use some kind of formula to bill for water & sewer and it's the same amount every month, which obviously doesn't make sense. After one year of living there, your rent goes up to $1000 for a one bedroom apartment. I got out of my lease early to get out of this scum hole. And they pay people/send out emails to win gift cards if you rate them 5 stars on Facebook. Would not recommend. They will rent to literally anyone. Oh and did I mention, in the YEAR that I lived there, the complex was bought by & sold to 3 different companies? Gross.

I was always told that you get what you pay for so when shopping for apartments, I thought this held true. Stonebridge had the biggest price tag compared to the other options around Harrisburg I considered, so I figured it had to be nice if the rent was so high. NOT the case. I constantly had an infestation of bugs more specifically, thousand leggers, centipedes, silverfish..whatever you want to call them but it was horrific. They offer a complimentary exterminator to come "take care" of the problem if it exists so I took advantage. First of all.. it didn't help. At all. If that wasn't enough, the exterminator was SO rude and basically told me to stop being dramatic and gave me some sticky traps thinking that would solve my problem. Nice. I also had a really bizarre infestation of ants and some sort of flies that invaded one night before I went to sleep. I literally considered getting a hotel!! Long story short, I was disgusted. So disgusted that I moved out a month earlier than I had left in my 9 month lease, and even paid rent in full for the month I wasn't there because that is how bad I wanted out. Upon move out, I got SLAPPED with a $200.00 bill (shouldn't be surprising because of all the hidden fees and pointless charges I experienced here). I tried to dispute some of the charges and CAITLYN from the leasing office was absolutely awful. When I brought up all of my bug issues she had the audacity to question why I didn't call the exterminator.. meanwhile I did at least once a month, even had him coming once a week at one point until he told me I was dramatic. So check your records! Bottom line, this place is HORRENDOUS. Between the charge after charge after charge, rude leasing agents, and bug infestations.. it should be closed down. I'm also pretty sure it is government subsidized housing which I asked before signing my lease and they told me it was not. So because I was a great tenant who paid my rent in full and on time every month and shut my mouth about (most) of my issues, I got screwed. **See attached picture for a small sample of the disgusting conditions I was "being dramatic" about.

I normally do not make bad reviews, however, I feel that it is important that I write about Stonebridge so that others will think twice before living here. For almost two years of living in Stonebridge apartments there were squirrels and rodents running through, and living in my vents. I called to have this issue fixed CONSTANTLY, but I was continually given the run around and ignored. The issue was never fixed. Also, the leasing management often ignored me in regards to other issues, and rarely ever got back to me. It was completely unprofessional. Now, I am not even being followed up on in regards to being sent my security deposit back. I am highly unhappy with their service. I am happy to be out of there.
