Is there a way to give a property 0 stars? I was a resident here for a couple of years, unfortunately due to my work schedule was never able to move come lease renewal time but finally I am free! There is a laundry list of reasons to not move in and only one to move in, and that it is cheap-ish. - the appliances are old, and constantly need to be fixed (had my garbage disposal fixed ~30 times) - OLD, in need of refurbishments but if you like that look more power to you (it is a rental, rent something new for a few bucks more) - the roadwork in the area means there is ALWAYS traffic - the property is poorly managed, attitude and lack of interpersonal skills - PARKING POLICY! There are no specifically reserved spots, which means you need a sticker. Sounds simple enough right? It isn't! There is a 0 tolerance parking policy which means they have Mars towing(which is full of real winners) come in the middle of the night to tow at will if you do not have a sticker. This sounds a little aggressive but permissible I suppose, but wait there is more. I had my windshield replaced and my truck was towed that night. I was there when it was happening and ended up getting the cops involved. I produced my license AND lease, clearly registered to the address and I live there but they still made me pay a drop fee after an hour of being talked to by the police. I approached Williamsburg management about this they offered no help or a way to get my money back due to their lazy, handsfree policy. - low light with only a couple windows, if you like living in a poorly lit basement this place is for you - the pool is full of screaming kids from about 11am to close Do yourself a favor and go 10 minutes down the road to a newer development if you're going to rent. Cheers, Brent

Google suggested I review this apparently because of the other recent reviews? I have to agree with the first review. I've lived here for maybe 3 years and it's obvious that the development's manager treats the development in a very detached way. They don't get that these are people's homes and their 'notices' for things like rent changes, maintenance work (I've come home to see notes on my table saying maintenance was in my home without any prior approval twice in the past year!!!) and general care of the place is pretty poor overall. ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE RENT AMOUNT (the second reviewer obviously has been here a while if they think that 1050 + a month for average rent rate is 'just a little high'). The biggest problem I have living here is that the buildings are very dated. heating sucks, AC sucks (I had to laugh reading the jet engine comment because it's soooo true LOL), the furnace is very old as is the water heater. I disagree about the grounds though. I like the gardening and landscaping, I think they do a good job there and the place looks like it's really nice from the outside...it just needs some work under the hood. Given the huge recent rent hike we had a few weeks ago I've started looking for another place also. As the rent has gotten to the point that you can easily afford a mortgage now and then some if you just buy. Overall: It's ok, but the management's customer service and consideration for the tenants lives is poor. They work on their schedule, not on yours, and as a service group for the property that is not right. The first reviewer was more right than wrong in my opinion. I'd seriously consider looking around at other options like Pennswoods or Sunpointe, I looked at both of them before moving here 3 years ago and with I had moved into them instead now that the rent is hiking so much.
