Stonebrook Community Church is a Christian community that has grown since 1972 from a small, campus Bible fellowship into a thriving, multi-generational congregation.
We believe that God calls us to extend his love and the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people in the Ames area, to the students of Iowa State University, and to the world. We strive to perpetuate our church's legacy for God's glory by planting new churches as He enables and leads us.
Stonebrook is affiliated with Great Commission Churches (GCC), a US based fellowship of churches and ministries united with churches throughout the world around shared values, a common history and especially the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. GCC promotes conferences and mission opportunities and offers accountability and mediation services for member churches. Great Commission Churches is a member of the National Association of Evangelicals and the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
