I highly recommend Stoneland.  Steve took the time to walk around the showroom with me so I could pick the best color and slab for my kitchen.  He was patient with me and understood that this was a major investment  and therefore didn't put any pressure on me to make a quick decision.  My granite has now been installed and is absolutely beautiful!  Thank you to Steve and Stoneland for providing the perfect stone.

I am very happy with my purchase from Stoneland!!   They were all very helpful and patient with me as I searched for the perfect granite to put in my kitchen.  I love the stone I picked and it looks fantastic in my kitchen.  The price was very affordable and I feel they did a wonderful job accommodating me.

I highly recommend Stoneland to anyone who is looking for a wide variety and selection of beautiful stone.
Stoneland's strongest aspects are selection and knowledgeable, friendly staff. My fiancé and I worked with Steve katcher. Right from the start it was clear he had both passion and tons of knowledge for his craft. It didn't hurt he was extremely patient and friendly. I tend to over analyze when making permanent decisions, so I applaud his patience.

I would give them 1 star if I could. I have never tried giving my business to a company with such bad customer service. To begin, we went to Stoneland to look at their granite slabs. We found a color that we liked, and asked if they would pull a few of these slabs to the side so that we could pick the stone we liked best. With granite being a natural occuring material, the colors and textures can have a huge variation within the same stone - so we wanted to chose the slab that matched best with our cabinet color. They informed me that they would not be able to do that until the following week - on a Thursday. I took a vacation day to go up there on Thursday because their hours conflict with the typical 9am-5pm day, and they did not have the staff to move the slabs on the weekends. When I got up there on Thursday afternoon, they had pulled aside 1 slab for me that fit the description of what I was looking for. I told the guy I would take it - to which he immediately responds "I'm sorry, someone has already claimed that slab." I couldn't understand why out of the 15 slabs they had of this color in their inventory, why they would pull aside a slab that was already taken! I asked if any other slabs were pulled aside for us like they had promised, and he told me there was not...but that he could get someone to pull some more aside for me in another WEEK. At this point, I told him we would just take whichever stone he had available in that color. He put one on hold for us, and we contacted our fabricator. Today, my fabricator called me to tell me that Stoneland had NOT put any slabs on hold for us, and that now Stoneland was completely out of the stone color we had selected. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH STONELAND. After going around and around in circles with them for 3 straight weeks, we are now back at square one. Global Granite, which is about 10 minutes away from Stoneland, has a much better selection, comparable prices, and much better customer service. I thought I would try and save myself $200 by going to Stoneland, but at this point Global Granite's convenience and great customer service wins my business. Still very upset with Stoneland and will not be referring anyone to them in the future.
