Clean , well stocked, but second horrific customer experience. This time from an appallingly rude staff member that failed to realize that they are in customer service business- and made no secret of feeling “put-out” when assistance was asked for. ( Not customer service desk ) Such a shame, as it makes the whole store and management look poor, even though there ARE some excellent workers in this store! Unfortunately, it’s a group effort. I truly feel that being the only large supermarket left in the area, that a MINORITY of workers here feel that they can just treat customers like dirt. I do not feel good about writing such a poor review, but needs to be said in the hope for improvement, and I will change review accordingly if that actually happens, but losing faith. UPDATE: The store took my complaint seriously, took appropriate action. Still a little deterred by last experience, however, I appreciate the time Store Managers took with the matter, and have changed my review accordingly ( from a 1 to a 3) Come on Amityville - you can get a 5 !!

This supermarket is awesome they have everything Its also very clean some one always cleaning the front when I walk in.I wish they had better meat selection however there prices are so high and you only get such a small amount.There cashiers seem all friendly and some times some one help you bag.I will continue to Stop and Shop

Love the scan it guns. Meat dept. Needs improvement. Quality and selection poor.
