I feel Stop & Shop has forgotten why they are in business. Its to sell you food. But every time a product us gone from their shelves, it takes FOREVER for them to order it. I think a wait time of 7 1/2 weeks for Ivory Soap etc is ridiculous. Also, their cash room alarm is constantly going off all hours of the day and night. They do a lousy job of snow plowing and shoveling the sidewalks too. They are also going to start charging for bags in October. I shop elsewhere now.

Nice store. Nice staff. Large parking area. Other retail stores in plaza. Easy access. Easy exit.

I've always loved shopping here but not anymore. I bought hamburger meat, their brand, had it in my fridge and a day before it's sell by date it turned completely brown. This leads me to suspicion that they restock old meat with new dates in order to sell. And/or are mixing old meat with new to make it look fresh. Will not trust them again.

Better than Big Y but I wonder why management doesn't ask rude men who sit on the bench by the self check to leave? I don't come here often but when I do it's the same crowd. Morning and night?
