I will be returning here again and again! They have some kinks to work out but they are completely fixable. The food was amazing, loved every bite. For the app we got the cheese fries and they are to die for!! I got the French dip sandwich (it's called something else on the menu but my pregnant mind can't think of it). It was delicious. Also, I got the Brigham's Brew on tap which was great. My husband got the fish and steak tacos and thought they were outstanding. He got the Sport Session IPA which he thought was great. Had a pineapple note to it that made it very refreshing and drinkable. We ordered a grilled cheese for our 3 year old but they for got to bring it out so I'm not sure about it. We didn't have room for dessert but the ones I saw around us made my mouth water looking at them. The problems are with the service. Everyone was extremely nice but not exactly good at their jobs. The hostesses didn't seem to know what was going on. The food took FOREVER to get out, no one ever refilled our drinks even when asked a few times, forgot our child's food, no one checked on us and the check took forever. All that can be fixed easily though. We will be back, especially for those brunch $3 mimosas!

Went there on Friday night - 10/6/2017 with friends. have been here once before about a year ago right after they opened the place. We sat in the very back - to the left of the entrance in the back, and had very good service. The drinks were good, the Jalapeno bacon wrapped bread appetizers were awesome... and it went down hill from there. Two "Flat Iron Steaks, Chicken Fried Chicken, Salmon and a Rib-Eye were ordered. how it came from the kitchen... Chicken fried chicken, Salmon and one of the Flat Iron steaks was right... The Flat Iron that was ordered well - was Rare... the Rib-Eye was ordered - never found until 15 minutes later - Served barely thawed and seared on both sides but basically was RAW. We sent the Flat iron that was ordered Well.... back... waiting for it with the Rib-eye. It arrived with the Rib-eye that was raw - and the flat Iron was not well... it was not even medium - but was medium rare. - both arrived long after the other three finished the meal. Good basic food, good beer, always nice servers. When you step into this new (but rustic look) bar/restaurant, you will be impressed. You will also feel like you are not in Utah (with Utah's unwelcoming attitude toward bars). I can't think of a better place in Utah County to go for laughs with friends and food.

If you haven't been to Strap Tank, you need to! If for no other reason than to simply see the amazing decor. I am a small town country boy at heart, and the way they have built the place reminds me of the old barns and sheds I grew up playing in and around. It's a great place to get inspiration for rustic decorating and home projects... That said, I don't drink, but I have taken my wife here several times on a date for lunch. While I can't speak for the alcohol, the food is great and the service has always been friendly and prompt. What keeps bringing me back is the overall experience, the rustic atmosphere, great food, and good service combine for a fun, enjoyable time.

Husband and I shared the chicken fried chicken and a southwest burger. The burger was flavorful and cooked just right. A little spice from the guac and big strips of bacon. Large helping of sweet potato fries that were sweet, salty and crispy. The chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes was smothered in a country gravy. Large quantity. Breading was a bit in the heavy side but it stood up well to the gravy. Well seasoned and juicy chicken breast. We were too full for dessert and took home a meal worth of leftovers. Overall good value. Comfort food, good service and a cool building.
