Was a loyal fan of this place until today. I grabbed two bagels with cream cheese and while eating it the test got more and more sour then my girlfriend bit into hers and notice the same thing taste like it was made with spoiled cream or milk. As a loyal customer I know something was not right so I called not looking for any refund in anyway just to give them a heads up that something was not right but the owner was not the nicest and literally said to me verbatim “you complain but we make freshy freshy” and refused to even hear me out even though I was trying to help them. Lost me as a customer sad because it’s the only bagel place by my but if you going to treat your customers like that then oh well! I’ll go somewhere else
I didn't want to believe the negative reviews since I've had good luck at the other Strathmore bagels locations. I got burned eggs and unpleasant service. The man making the food is the only worker not wearing a mark.
These bagels are by far The Best bagels I have eaten!! They are light, and fresh!! Unlike others I have to eaten. Heavy and doughy. From everything to plan Stratmore Bagels in Brentwood are the best!
It breaks my heart!!!! I used to love this place but lately I only came for breakfast as my last option but everytime I tried giving them a chance I just kept wasting my money and disappointed- either too much condiments or burnt, not the nicest staff. Sad to say but I rather drive to baysbore 15 min instead of coming here anymore which is walking distance to me. They need to get new management please somebody save Strathmore bagels in Brentwood- for now guys I will have to stop coming here for breakfast! Get nicer cook, stop being cheap with your generating income business!
They use to have good breakfast. But the lady owner is greedy and ran the place to the ground. She cant hold employees yet run a efficient deli. Over 30 min wait at times due to low staff and the owner is now cooking food with incredibly low amounts of ingredients. Went from a 4 star to 0 stars
Not really a big deal but they burned my bagel this morning but they do have good bagels and other stuff probably the only thing left from when I was a kid
I always get great food and fresh bagels here. They have been a staple in the community since I was a young girl. The only downside is they close super early in the day and they don't always follow the hours listed here as being open.
Waited 30 mins for someone to rake order. They finally did. Wasn’t even eggs or anything. I noticed They don’t use gloves. The girl that made my bagels did. However the person making egg sandwiches was wearing only one glove. Watched her open Palm grab cheese with bare hand. Both woman ! Then they gave me 2 bagels that weren’t correct. I left Store came back in ..she took back the bagels I touched and opened and put them back by shelf. Being that I work In the service Industry, this is appalling. I will Never be back to this place as it’s disgusting and they don’t practice any safety precautions regarding cleanliness or covid!!!
Employees are rude and they all just stand around not doing anything, not greeting customers, not taking orders. I sat there for ten minutes before the nasty cashier directed me to another associate who was stranded there as well doing nothing with her arms crossed. I walked out without even ordering. No wonder your shop is completely empty during the busiest hours of any other bagel shop. Place is terrible, I’ll never go there again.
RUDE SERVICE . Everyone is nice but this one woman . She was annoyed taking my ordered , rolled her eyes slamming her hands and whatever . Then on top of that it was slow and seeing her respond to other customers rudely was just disgusting . Then as i walked out the door she was bad mouthing me in Spanish thinking i didn’t understand . I’m paying you and giving you my money , have a smile on ur face and thank me .
