It's our honeymoon spot, therefore we return at least once a year... Magical... It's always been mellow and quiet during mud season, unfortunately for us there was about 220 people who didn't understand nor appreciate the magical hot springs etiquette:( the closer it got to dark/ clothing optional all you saw we're phones lighting up and messing with that etiquette, flashlights pointed down, discreet... none of that. We got 10 hours of hot springs therapy and off the grid mountain time. Just want to keep it quaint and magical❤️

This is a nice, relaxing hot springs, separated from civilization. However, in order to make your stay a satisfying, not frustrating experience, here are some things that you need to know before visiting: 1. ABSOLUTELY **NO** PETS WHATSOEVER are allowed on the property...NOT EVEN inside your vehicle! Management prohibits guests from even leaving pets in their vehicles, due to the fact that there is no shade in the parking lot. Find a pet-sitter BEFORE you make your way to this hot springs! 2. Four-wheel drive vehicles are STRONGLY recommended during the snowy months (November-May) on the road leading to the hot springs; otherwise, most passenger cars are fine during the summer. 3. Parking can be difficult to find during the summer...ESPECIALLY on the weekends! Management can restrict the number of vehicles that enter the property when the lot becomes full. Carpooling is a good option. 4. This hot springs is clothing-optional ONLY after dark, at which time it becomes open only to adults. 5. Bring a flashlight or a head lamp if visiting after dark. 6. If you bring any personal belongings, MAKE SURE you know where you put them...it can be DIFFICULT to find your belongings in the dark. 7. Strawberry Hot Springs ONLY accepts cash or check...NO credit or debit cards.

My husband and I went while on vacation and he loved it! It was beautiful and so relaxing but I tend to agree about the guy that works there. He acts like he really doesn't want to be there which if odd when you find everyone in Steamboat Springs is so overly friendly! Maybe he didn't have his gummy! :D Great place and bring a flashlight and no clothing after dark! OH and also you might want to have a 4 wheel drive! It's also a steep walk back up to your vehicle.

Greatest pools, Hands down. But, stay overnight or be the first ones there. It gets crowded. I stayed overnight and 10/10 would recommend. The cabins are great. Stay overnight for the best experience. In a cabin... By yourself, with a friend...

This park is absolutely gorgeous. It's $15 to get in and I definitely recommend bringing at least a bottle or two of water. Between the hot springs, the sun, and activity, it's really easy to get dehydrated. We stayed for a little longer than an hour and we were completely drained. There are restrooms near the entrance and theres also a little changing cabin. We both wore our suits in but definitely didn't need to. The changing room was pretty quiet when we went.
