We are Closed For the Season - See you again in MAY 2018! ...Adirondack-Southern Inspire BBQ - Nestled just inside the Adirondack Park, the Streaking Moose BBQ proudly serves family sauces and rubs with all of our authentic BBQ. Stopped at this bbq place for lunch on the way home to NY from Vermont. Had the pulled pork sandwiches with andouille sausage on the side. Juicy pork and just the right amount of sweetness from the sauces available at the table.

Fantastic place to eat. Places like this don't get recognized enough. Things to try include the smoked brisket, ribs, baked beans, and mac and cheese. The staff is nice, kid friendly, and personable. Clearly the owner or owners is doing something right. Speaking of the owner, we met one and honestly the most hospitable and friendly person. Even when asked for the recipe. Although he declined to tell me :) he did explain a little bit of the process and anyone who puts that much work into their food deserve good business. Wish we had one these in NYC, It might put all the other restaurants out of business.

Awesome food. Traditional southern bbq to a T. Great ambience open to the outside (the entire place is like a giant front porch). Great staff. Personal service. They're only open spring and summer so don't hesitate.

Full assortment of barbecued beef, chicken and pork along with a selection of sides: mac n cheese, baked beans, grilled corn, etc. They also serve a wide choice of beer and soda. They have two different BBQ sauces here....sweet and slightly spicy. You're bound to like one. It's reasonably priced, flavorful food served with a smile. I'll definitely go back.
