I've been a customer of Suburban Propane for years and foolishly trusted them. Resently i became aware that they have been gouging me by charging me $4.9989 per gallon.I since checked my passed bills and became aware that I have not payed less then $4.50 a gallon for years.

When checking with other companys I find out I can get propane for $1.29 a gallon with no charge or rental for their tank. Another company would charge $1.99 per gallon with no charge for their tank and guaranteed that for three years.

So if you do business with Suburban Propane check you bills and definitely call around becuse no doubt you to are being gouged.

They seem to be quite busy in the winter time, but they honored a lower price that they had given me earlier. So, I give them a thumbs-up. They even take credit card.

I Called them up and had them deliver propane for 1.49. They told me this was a one time offer for new customers on there first fill up but after that it was the "market rate" wich at the time was 1.99. So i called for my second tank full 3 weeks later and asked for the price per gallon.......3.79! She said its up right now. That much in only three weeks? Gas never rises that fast. funny how there the only one that high. Another funny thing is they supply a store a 1/4 from our house and are there atleast once every three days, but when i called it would be a week before i got mine filled and its a small tank. Like stated below if you choose these scam artist bend over!

Suburban Propane just delivered propane to my home and left a bill charging me $5.39 per gallon!  I have been looking at the local competitors and most are in the $2.50/$2.60 range.  I have been a loyal customer for 5 years, have great credit and am never late making my payment to SP.

I'm going to be switching to Aero Energy, Worley or Ressler.  Just want other people to know to about my Suburban Propane experience.
