3/21/17 8:47:37pm There was a gentleman behind the counter with aggressive and angry behavior. His eyes were bloodshot and seemed to be very content halfway open. The first comment I did not appreciate was that everything at subway was "unhealthy" for me and that there were "probably" GMOs in all the produce. The second thing I did not appreciate was, "even the bread has gluten in it!". I really should have walked away at that point, but my family was hungry and we all just wanted sandwiches. So I asked the gentleman to make me a Black Forest Ham sandwich. He asked what kind of cheese, and I told him pepper jack. He then said you want that toasted right? I told him no I did not want it toasted. I was then asked about my veggies. We made it through the veggies. Then I stated I wanted spicy mustard, mayo, s & p, and oil and vinegar. He juggled a couple of bottles... then found the mustard and put it on. He then looked up at me and said "sorry I only heard spicy mustard". I stated again what I wanted and he grabbed the mayo and aggressively squeezed an excessive amount out on to my sandwich. Then he grabbed the vinegar and soaked my sandwich in it. I do not exaggerate when I say he soaked my sandwich in vinegar. Salt and Pepper was then applied, which was strangely uneventful. He began to close my sandwich then stopped to grab something from under the counter. He shaked a seasoning in my sandwich that I wasn't familiar with and then put it back under the counter. He folds the sandwich and I ask him what that seasoning was he just put on my sandwich. He looks at me and replies "salt &pepper". I then ask him why he put it on twice and why wasn't once good enough, was it not coming out of the shaker? He then stated "ohhhhh! That must have been oregano!" I told him I didn't ask for that. He then asked in a very annoyed tone if I wanted another sandwich, and I began to say yes as he picked up the sandwich twisted it in the air in his hands like he was twisting a wet towel, then folded it in half and through it across the kitchen into the trash while knocking over something behind the cash register. He did this very aggressively and with obvious anger. I told him never mind and I paid for the other sandwich and chips we had already ordered. The entire time he mumbled to himself inaudibly while he took my money and made change. Just an amazing, absolutely amazingly terrible experience. 👍🏼

Smaller subway that is decent for a quick bite to eat.

They're quick and friendly. If you're looking for a quick bite it's not bad.

This is the first negative review I've published: I haven't been to this subway location before but this was a very weird experience for me. I went in this afternoon and there was a very hostile energy, so strange. There wasn't a single other customer except me there yet the guy who looked like the manager was really impatient with me taking my time to order. Before I'm even done picking out the veggies for my sandwich the staff member asked me to pay. After I finished my transaction they started either full out arguing (or maybe gossiping-- something angry being discussed) about hours, scheduling, I'm not sure what but it made me really uncomfortable so I didn't even sit down I just ate in my car. Haha it was so strange. Food was fine though

I have never felt the need to write a review for a service, no matter how spectacular or poor, until I went to the BASEMAR Subway this TUESDAY evening. Some of the worst employees, who are supposed to be providing a "service" to the community, i have ever dealt with. Exasperated and irritated with an additional customer ( on top of the maybe ten inside and none in line), employees rushed through making my sandwich with out any thought to the quality of it, had me pay for it before it was even out of the toaster, finally my veggies were grabbed by the handful and practically thrown onto my sandwich like they were preparing them in a blender. Zero thought to quality all while being the rudest, discourteous, impatient people i have ever met. This business, particularly their employees deserve much less than the one star: i will never go back to this Subway and will actively encourage anyone who will listen not to either. Not until there are new employees/management.
