First experience, the employee refused to unlock the doors an hour before closing. The employee proceeded to eat handfuls of food, blatantly ignore us, even as I’m standing outside calling the store’s phone. A simple explanation - “I’m here by myself, I’m tired, wanted to go home early” we all have those days! We would’ve understood. Don’t just ignore paying customers literally at your doorstep. We both filled out an online form, my complaint was followed up but my fiancé’s was not. The owner, Sam, called to apologize & comp a lunch. I messaged him BEFORE driving to this location today to be SURE I had IN WRITING that we would be there within the hour to receive our COMP. LUNCHES & he agreed with no objection. The result: 1 comped sandwich with a remaining $17 balance still owed. This is the scam: My fiancé was given a “free sandwich” but he was not given combo meal pricing - we still paid the same amount we would have paid anyways because he charged full individual price for drinks, chips, everything on its own. Basically, this was a ploy to get us back in the store once he had “resolved the issue”. I call corporate at this point, 20 mins later she tells me my fiancé’s complaint wasn’t showing up, therefore, they basically didn’t owe him anything for lack of proof. She also added that since the store’s are individually owned, it was Sam’s decision to only offer one sandwich for 2 people & charge full price (so, the owner can charge whatever they want instead of honoring the corporate-wide menu prices?) without honoring a standard lunch menu combo price. But she would “let him know I called”, that was it. I texted Sam to let him know I was calling corporate, he said to come back for compensation of the other sandwich. My fiancé was almost home but drove all the way back to the store to get this whole circus resolved in one day. He pulled in as Sam was walking out, he even went out of his way to avoid him by backing around him in his car & driving behind the building instead of taking the main exit out of the parking lot. Are you joking? The situation was bad enough, it would have been best to NOT contact us to “resolve” the issue. Also, the flatbread on both of our sandwiches was raw white dough, despite being asked for both to be toasted. They went in the toaster oven, but clearly it was broken or not turned on. It’s disgusging.

Carey made us the best looking Subway sandwiches I have ever seen. Furthermore, he was friendly and the sandwiches we're delicious to boot!

If I could give zero stars I would. Went there today and the man that was going to make my sandwich turned around and all I saw was greasy dirty unkempt hair stuffed into his hat with dandruff on the back of his shirt. My stomach was so turned by this that I could not even eat my food.
