The fact that I have to go out of my way and waste time to rate a traffic court is absurd. I understand traffic court can be a nightmare but the unqualified and rude employees at the clerks desk do not help the matter. They seriously need to rehire new clerks. Everyone always has something up their as* when I come here. I understand it's a stressful environment but if you can't be professional don't work customer service at a clerks desk. They always seem to only have 2 or 3 clerks available when they have 8 Windows. That's 5 or 6 unfilled jobs that Suffolk must account for immediately. It doesn't help when the 2 people on are incredibly slow and unprofessional when you finally speak with them. The woman at the 3rd desk in the afternoon today was horrible and unqualified to do her job. There is no excuse why these people are always busy. They are always understaffed and the few staff they do have are unqualified.

We haves tried to pay a traffic ticket by mail with money orders, overnighted and return receipt. Well, it was signed for but no one knows where it is. You can’t call and get an answer, you show up and wait all day for a moment to speak with someone. Just to be told, “Are you sure you filled the envelope?” Presented them with all the receipts and they don’t have an answer. And oh by the way the fine went up cause you missed the date! This was coming from management! It’s all about taking you to the bank! The most incompetent agency I have ever dealt with!

The biggest issue I see, in my opinion, is that people can't afford these fines. Of course no one should be breaking the law but at the same time one ticket fine can cost someone's entire paycheck. I was standing next to an older gentleman who got a ticket for using an electronic device while driving and an expired inspection. I'm not saying he shouldn't be fined, but in the end he was forced to make a plea and agree to a $1000 fine. It's just insane! Fines should hurt but damn, this is just cruel.

Our review would be 5 stars, untill we were verbally harassed.Harassed by an abusing his power of authority mall cop. Aka public safety officer named Ra. You really need to look into the safety of all the people that are mentally and verbally abusing out there.shame on you for hiring these criminals hiding under sheeps clothing.
