Absolutely the best quality sushi I’ve ever had. The sushi menu has a great fusion that blends Japanese flavors with traditional Mexican flares. Customer service is top notch. It’s a must but be ware it’s very addicting.
The food was awesome and creative! We tried the tostada - amazing mix of a Yard House style sushi roll with Mexican flavors. The aquachili roll was awesomely spicy- even better than Sushi Asahi which is hard to beat. Stephanie provided excellent service! We would come back again.
The food was really good and full of great flavor. The whole family ordered something different and we were all pleased. From the service to the sushi to the tostada! The salsa was fresh and the mixture of seafood was amazing! Nice on a hot day! Definitely going back on a Wednesday for their special.
Had a great dinner here last night! Server was super friendly and made great recommendations. We enjoyed everything we ordered including the ceviche de mango, the aguachiles roll and the michelada. Definitely recommended!

Amazing Sushi!!! This place is awesome! Mexican Japanese Fusion Sushi and Ceviche. This location won't have the Birria but the sushi here is very delicious and it's fun new types of rolls that are a joy to try. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service was excellent. My wife and I will most definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Also this place is priced very reasonably.
Wait time was too long considering there was only two separate customers. The chef made good sushi, It’s just the customer service from the server. Didn’t check in with our beverages as frequently or give us our second appetizer. The scenery and the live sushi making is well thought of and makes it memorable.
First time visiting SUMABI & I enjoyed it. I’m barley starting to like sushi & this place has so many yummy options that it makes me want to come back to try more. It’s not your traditional Japanese sushi, they have incorporated Mexican flavors into it & I love it. Great environment & friendly staff. Cant wait to try more again.
If you like rolls, this place offers phenomenal options that taste both unique yet familiar at the same time. I don’t even have any photos because I was so eager to eat it it really is eye candy. Definitely give this place a try!
Newly opened two weeks Riverside location of the Asian/Latino was a winner. Food was very good - shrimp ceviche generous, fresh and well prepared, the sushi rolls and Jalapeño crab poppers were fun and fresh as well. We also tried the saki sampler, fruit drinks with a Latino twist, again, fun like the other things we ordered. Service was great. Not quite perfect yet… we were the only people in one of the two dining rooms and the music was so loud we had to almost yell across the table to be heard. And they don’t have a bar and dont serve hard liquor yet. Also a bit light on the Latino fare. But music can be turned down and the beer Sapporo on tap even! and saki served us well on our first visit. Definitely going to give it another try soon.
