I had a very good time here. I go often since it's fairly close to UAB's campus. I took my girlfriend, who is hearing impaired, and the staff was very gracious in helping her get her closed captioning device set up. Prices are high, but that's the same for most theaters. There are also several delicious restaurants nearby for after-movie munchies. Overall a great experience.

Nice theater. Easy to access. As with most theater, concessions are over priced. But the popcorn is usually always fresh.

My visit to this theater was extremely disappointing. On my off time Tuesday, I took a patient (handicapped gentleman) to the movies. He had not been to a movie in over 12years -since falling and breaking his neck. I was quite taken aback when I noticed that the movie we were there to see was not listed on the marquee. Imagine that, in Birmingham, the ONLY movie not listed was the one with an all Black cast! Had it not been an inconvenience to take him elsewhere there would have been no way I would have supported this theater! Additionally the popcorn was extremely salty! It appears that racism no matter how subtle still very much exist!

Tickets were purchased at the concession stand where an unnecessary "join our club and get a discount" decision was added to the process. This created a continuous delay, which makes the club member lane seem more appealing. I was told "but it's free" 2 more times after I said "no, thanks" the first time I was asked. Just sell the tickets and if you want my email address or whatever just include that request when I pay for the tickets. I watched a movie here and the theater was clean, so that part went fine.

Dated AMC theater in a packed and difficult to navigate shopping center. Out of all the chain theater locations in Birmingham, this is my absolute lowest rated. It feels cramped, the decor is dated, the auditoriums are small and even more dated than the lobby decor. I'd recommend going down 280 to Lee Branch or up to Patton Creek near the Galleria.
