Overall I'm so glad I found this place! I probably wouldn't come here for a cut as I am super picky, but I had a color here done yesterday and I'm very pleased with how it came out. Making an appt was easy, I didn't wait very long at all to be seen, and my student consulted with her "educator" before doing anything. The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars: My student was very quiet, which isn't a problem, but I'm still not sure if she put just a toner on my hair or a dye, as we had talked about both and she never told me a plan. (People who get their hair colored all the time would probably be able to tell, but I'm not an expert). I have long hair and I'm sure it's hard to wash out in the bowl, but the back of my head still had dye in it when I got home. Although there wasn't any on my forehead which is a HUGE plus. The receptionist (who was very nice) offered me a deep conditioning treatment for only $8 when I made the appointment, but I don't think that got done (if it did this deep conditioner only sits on your hair for 30 seconds), or if I paid for it. (I know, I should speak up). I was surprised that my total before purchasing a shampoo was around $60, but like I said I have long hair and they had to make 2 additional batches of color. The facility is super nice and bright,  but I couldn't help but notice all of the "educators" seemed like they were in a bad mood, but everyone was still polite. I'm overall happy with my color, but after getting home I think I see some missed spots, but I'm not super worried about it. My student seemed knowledgeable, just needs to be able to explain things a little more, like when to wash next, etc. I will be coming back to this location, just make sure what you are expecting isn't anything super advanced. Although the woman sitting across from me was getting blue and teal hair, and hers turned out great, and the woman sitting next to me had very long hair that a student was taking meticulous time to trim appropriately, which I appreciate as a fellow long haired person.

I truly love coming here. Each time I’ve gone, I get someone new. I’ve been here 3 times and all three times they were phenomenal. The hairdressers were professional, skilled and listened to what I wanted. They were so kind and respectful. It doesn’t feel like a beauty school at all. It feels like I’m getting my hair done at a top notch salon, which is what this school is. They are top notch and I definitely recommend them to others! It’s very budget friendly!

I love coming here :) I've been here probably 10 times getting my hair done - color, cuts, conditioning treatments, etc. They really do a good job for much cheaper than anywhere else for basically the same quality. I've gone from natural to ombre to dark brown and everyone always compliments me and are shocked when I tell them that I got it done at a student salon. I recommend Summit Salon to all of my friends!
