Story

Sun Prairie Hometown Pharmacy opened on April 15, 2013. We are located on the corner on Main and Bird Street, across the street from a Sun Prairie staple, McGoverns. We know you have a lot of options when it comes to your pharmacy needs, so we appreciate you checking us out. We strive to make you feel like one of the family and will go out of our way to make sure you understand your medications and how to take them to achieve the best health outcomes. Our pharmacy is staffed primarily by Sun Prairie resident and pharmacy partner, Jason Buenger, PharmD. Jason’s goal is to bring pharmacy practice back to how it was intended as a friendly and personalized comprehensive service.

We offer medication compounding (see our compounding section), free delivery, curbside pick-up, immunizations for anyone over 6 years of age, and we will prepare med boxes for patients who need that little extra help remembering to take their medications. Our store is stocked with a full line of over the counter medications, a large selection of natural and organic products, unique gifts, and plenty of cards.
