We stayed in a Dollar Meadow Condo for 3 days/2 night for Christmas. This unit was 4 bedrooms and large enough for our immediate family. It was fantastic. Everything was clean and prepped upon our arrival. We even got a vehicle escort from the lodge to help us find our way to the condo and get settled. Being located near the lodge enabled us to take in its amenities and the big Christmas Eve Nutcracker on Ice, fireworks and Dollar Mountain torchlight (which were fantastic). We had a wonderful Christmas and can't say enough for the space we stayed in!

This beautiful property is as rich with history as it is with the feel of luxury. From Earnest Hemingway (who had a dedicated suite that you can rent for a paltry 1,000 per night) to Tom Hanks, every celebrity imaginable has graced these Halls. And they flaunt it. Renovated in 2015, the hallways are filled with the stories lodges famous guests dating back to the hotels opening in the 1930's. This lodge is worth a look.

The sun valley company did a magnificent job on the recent remodel, and they are currently remodeling the inn. The bowling alley is a great place to have a party or take the kids(it's the only one in the valley) the rooms have been updated and have a contemporary feel without losing the charm of the vintage sun valley lodge feel. The staff always has a smile and willing to help with the smallest of problems. Feeding the swans and ducks out front is always a kick for the kids

The remodel came out great! It kept a lot of its old charm but has really upped their game to make it a world class resort!  The pools and spa are awesome and the resort offers anything you could want.

The lodge is absolutely beautiful. The staff here is also amazing. There is always someone on hand to open the door when you walk in and when you enter, you feel like a million bucks. There are several shops within walking distance from the lodge where you can buy anything from lunch to high end jewlrey. The ski areas are close and the lodge is not far from town where you can find just about anything you need.
