The office atmosphere was very tense and awkward. I was very uncomfortable in the lobby. The dermatologist was extremely awkward and did not examine my skin. They tried to get me to buy a lot of their skin care products, even after I refused. It was a huge waste of my time. The dermatologist prescribed me doxycycline, after I told him I didn’t want to be on something that can cause birth defects. Nope.

I have a positive experience with Dr. Rudloff treating my rare autoimmune skin disease. He has been very helpful to provide treatment, encouragement, script refills etc. There have been a few mix ups with the front desk as far as billing and relaying messages, but overall not a big problem. The secretaries and nurses have all been very cheerful. I have been going there a year and am very pleased.

This is my first time with a dermatologist. I called for an appointment on a Wed and got in the following Monday! This is unheard of in Kansas City! I went in and was greeted by the receptionist, filled out paperwork, was taken on a tour of their facility by a very friendly gal. Fifteen minutes later, I was seeing the doctor. Dr. Matthys was very friendly and concerned with my issue. He explained that sometimes there's a wait to get in, but they will work through lunches, if necessary, to see all the patients that are booked because he believes someone shouldn't have to wait 3 months to get in to see a doctor! I can appreciate that! Overall, I liked this doctor, the facility and my experience.

I would highly recommend finding a different dermatology clinic. Post office-visit communication is terrible. They do not contact you regarding lab results, you have to reach out to them. Even then, it is almost impossible to get someone on the phone. If they tell you a nurse will call you back, go ahead and count on NEVER receiving a call. It took me 2 weeks to get ahold of a nurse/doctor after my visit. This is a very poorly run clinic when it comes to patient care and communication.

Love this place! The facilities are clean and impressive, the staff is friendly, and my Doctor was very helpful. I highly recommend it!
