One of the best rain forest walks in the Vancouver area. Well laid out, good trails, excellent numbered information stops along the way. It is a top notch walk on a fall day because of the high number of deciduous trees. Forest includes douglas fir, vine maple, poplar and cedar trees, with excellent examples of nurse logs. Cycling, dog walking, hiking are all encouraged. I rank this alongside Pacific Spirit Park.

A hidden gem. Beautiful trees, quite dense and luscious. It's a small park but worth a walk through. It's my happy place!

Beautiful park with nice trails and tall trees. Really feels like you're in the backcountry while you're in this park. Only downside is that you have to cross the busy 24th Avenue to connect to the trails to the south.

For me, the "Semiahmoo Heritage Trail" is a gateway to the "Urban Forest" here on the Peninsula. A "Great Walking Network" of trails. Great 10 K walk today. I had my own local guide to lead me around the maze of trails. The elevation change is moderate. The "Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest is a Local Gem".
