I had a doctor's appointment at Lewis Gale and drove all the way over there from Vinton. When I got to the office I realized I forgot my wallet. To add more bad luck my car was about out of gas.  I asked the owner if I could use a credit card number to get gas and he said we needed the card. I scrounged through my car and found $1.37 so I counted it out to him and he said "where is your car? I'm going to give you $5 in gas and you can pay me next time you're in this direction. I tried to give him the change I had but he wouldn't take it. In this day and age that type of trust and generosity is unheard of. I didn't catch the owners name but I'll get it when I go back. Thanks for your kindness and I'll fill up with premium and return the $5 when I go back.
