I went to Sunshine Laundry for the first time today. The machines don't take plastic, so I asked if I could drop my stuff there for a couple of minutes while I ran to the Safeway down the street to grab some cash for quarters. Dean, the owner, told me he'd front me the quarters so I could start my clothes, and let me get started faster.

The machines are fast and quiet and even though I washed all of my stuff on the heaviest settings, nothing was damaged in any way. The dryers are super efficient as well, and I had my stuff washed and dried in about an hour fifteen. 

Dean himself is super friendly and we had a great conversation about recent AI research. He knows his shop pretty well, and if I find myself back in Carmichael and needing to do laundry again, I know where I'm going.

I can get a regular size washer for $1 at launderland at Marconi and walnut. Why pay $1.75?

I love this laundry mat, Drew is very nice and helpful. It is always clean. I rather do my laundry here than in my own apartments​, I know my clothes will be clean.

This place is always clean, the people that work here are very helpful. The machines work great and not super expensive.

The attendant that looks fresh out of prison tweaked out, harasses clients. Chooses to bother with the machines when someone is using them rather than bother with the machines that aren't being used. Makes the laundry experience super awkward. Won't return to this location. I've been to plenty of laundry mats where they have attendants, but this guy is just plan creepy. The owner would learn a lot if they watched their cameras.
