Awesome beach - white sand, crystal clear water, calm waves. We stayed on the North End of Grand Cayman but made sure to take a day to hit up Seven Mile Beach. We decided to park near Calico Jack's because other reviewers recommended the large free parking lot and public facilities located there. It was easy to find, just put Calico Jack's in my phone's map and took us right there. We got hit up immediately by the "lounge chair/umbrella" guys for $20 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. It appeared that everyone on this part of the beach had chairs so we just paid. But after getting our bearings, we realized we could have just walked down the beach a bit and sat on our towels but it didn't bother us. We were glad to have the chairs and $20 was actually something fairly "cheap" on the island so we didn't put a stink up about it. Glad to have made it over there to say we went to SMB and I'm sure if we stayed at a resort nearby, we would have loved it even more but we were happy to get back to our end of the island and the equally beautiful beaches.

The room was acceptible. I guess there are new mattresses, carpet and flooring in the bathroom. I read the reviews from others raving about how great this motel is and how nice the staff is. Wrong. Crappy woman on the desk.
Sorry, but it ruined my stay.
We will not be back

For the price you can't bet it. I stayed one night. Clean rooms, very firm mattress. Good for one night.

The location is great being right off the highway and the bed was very comfortable compared to other super 8 motels i have been in

Dusty! (I'm sniffling now), microwave was dirty, dirty frozen ice in freezer, coffee was still in coffee maker, floor needed vacuuming, I wasn't sure at first if the sheets were fresh! I was Super tired coming off the and didnt notice anything until i woke up (other than bedding and floor). I'll go to Microtel or Red Roof next time 🤷🏽‍♀️
Bagels and cream cheese would be nice for breakfast. 🙄
Well let me add, I've been standing at the front desk for 5 minutes trying to check out. Dialing the phone at the desk! No one is appearing!!!
I will never come back. I worked at Wyndham DC and this is terrible service around here!
