I have been shopping at Stop And Shop since 2003 when we relocated to RI. I have noticed a lack of management oversite at the front end checking out area. Customers wait in long lines as there are not enough registers open. On two occasions recently, I have had a cashier more interested in ending her shift than focusing on her customer, me. I do all my shopping at Stop and Shop, and find this very unsettling. I used to be a cashier and a front end area manager, and the customer is why you have a job. When I am spending my time and money, the least I can expect is courtesy. It appears that your employees would benefit from some retraining. A used to be a satisfied customer.

Always run out of things. Every week is different.  Shelves get pretty bare. Store is not clean. And fish and meat dept always smells bad. You have to be careful and check dates on everything.  I have had endless  times when I had to throw things out. Even when the dates say its ok. Tells me somethimg is not right with refrigeration. Only go there when absolutely  necessary as I live in the western area, and it's a long way to the next stop & shop

Had to go back in because my cashier didn't know the difference between a red onion, which is $1.49/lb vs a sweet onion at $2.99/lb.

Just closed the pharmacy at this location. Sometime higher priced items, not all products available at all stores. Good produce.
