Was not impressed. Tabitha asked what we were doing (to my hair) . I told her what I wanted. Most was fine but said how I want the back of my hair cut and what not to do....well, she did what I asked her NOT to do. Mind you there were just the 2 of us there at 11 am on a weekday. She was not very talkative, just seemed to be into the haircut and that was it. At the end I asked for a brush (she used a comb) as my hair is thick and brushes are better....she said she didn't have one, so when she asks how is it? Hard to tell. Also ALL stylists I've ever used have a mirror to show the back. Not here or at least not now with her. So I pay and go home. I see my father who says, "What happened?" He knows how I like my hair. I find out she cut my hair how I DON'T like it. He also asked how the hot towel was. What are you talking about? Apparently everyone is to receive a hot towel after every treatment. Not here. Not with me. So I go back and ask for the manager. She asked why. I told her I wasn't happy for the above reasons. She offered to try and fix it. But what are you going to do cut off more hair off that I did not want cut off ALREADY? She did offer a refund which should have happened since she can't undo what she had done when told not to do it. I called owner (called back a few days later, on vacation). I just wanted to let him know my experience there. He kept defending Tabitha saying it didn't sound like her. I said, hey, you know here better than I do, I'm just telling you my experience. He said he talked to her and got back to me. I seemed to have a better memory as to what happened but maybe that's because those things should not have happened. Brian Papenberg(the owner) apologized but must not value customers as he did not try to get me to come back at all ( I said that unless he could convince me otherwise, I would not come back). He just said he understood. Normally, most owners would be like here is a coupon, please come see us again, we value our customers, what you had happen is NOT normal. Not here. He will call and talk to you....and that's it. Beware if you go here, or the one off Delaware, he owns both of them...just remember there are PLENTY of other places that will cut your hair AND value it's customers, Supercuts in Ankeny, owned by Brian Papenberg at least, is not one of them!!!!

Tabitha is awesome! She listens, is able to provide suggestions and takes her time to get to know you as a person, not just another client. I highly recommend her!

Great place for boys hair cuts. They know how to do a fade. Super sweet stylists with my young boys.

Great service every time I come. This is my second time getting a color from Tabitha and it turns our wonderful each time. I also bring my kids in for discount kids cuts on Tuesday. Great price and very happy with the stylists and the haircut. Will definitely be back.
