Thinking about hiring these guys to do your walls? THINK AGAIN!! THEY ARE WITHOUT MORALS AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

I am the father of a first-grader at a progressive, socially conscious elementary school in Santa Monica, Edison Language Academy. Tec Wall Systems (also called Superior Wall Systems) was the sub-contractor on a big construction project that has been going on for the last year or so at our school.

I guess Ron Hudson, the owner of Tec Wall Systems, feels like he didn't get paid what he should have (the School District disagrees). Fair enough. 99+% of the parents at our school are supporters for fair wages, equal rights, and labor in general. We want people to get paid for fair work.

But here's what happens when Ron Hudson doesn't get what he wants... He HIRES a group of shock-troop agitators called the YBCA and, starting this Monday, they began picketing our school, terrorizing our kids, disrupting classes and very nearly barring entry. Not only have these protesters hired by Ron Hudson, intimidated our children with their screams, they have BROUGHT FIGURES OF PEOPLE BEING LYNCHED. 

What kind of person does that to elementary-school children? Is he going to explain to my 5 year-old what a noose and a lynching is?! Does hehave to deal with the nightmares our kids are having?!

We've tried to reason with Ron personally and in correspondence but he clearly doesn't care about the effect this is having on our children. "The parents can help end this by putting pressure on the district to settle with us. If not the pickets will remain until we are paid in full," he writes. 

The head of the agitators told a parent today that "unless Ron can get the meeting he wants, and had been promised, that he has instructed Drexel to take the protesting up a notch and have 5 dummies out in front of the school on Monday."

JUST TO BE CLEAR, I am all for people being paid for their work and, if Tec Wall Systems is owed money, the School District should pay them and pay them ASAP. 

But it is just plain wrong that Ron Hudson thinks he can drag our KIDS into his business problems, playing them and us like pawns to gain leverage over the School District. 

Now you can see what kind of person you'd be doing business with if you hire Tec Wall Systems..
