The most important thing to know beforehand is that there are no restroom/shower facilities on site, and no draining or dumping of any kind is allowed on site.  This includes gray water.

This means that if you plan to stay for multiple days, you are either:
1. showering somewhere else.
2.  infrequently/conservatively showering.
3.  making multiple trips to San Elijo State Beach to dump your gray water ($15 fee)

If this is not a problem, the location and the price are excellent, and the site itself is just fine.

If this is a problem, better to look somewhere else.

Why are people being discriminated against having an older RV? Personally I don't want all the computerization cost and maintenance that comes with newer RVs. The majority of the RV parts are universal therefore newer means nothing. If care or condition of the RV is a concern then pre-approval via inspection, noting older units can be kept as good or better. Was it considered that many older RVs owners are not strapped from a monthly payment, this allowing them to keep the RV dependable and in good operation condition.

This park facility is commiserate with the price. It has no facilities and 30amp breakers, that is the down side. On the upside, the location is awesome, right across from the horse track, one mile from the beach, a few blocks to the Whole foods and a really nice shopping center. And did I mention the price? You can't stay anywhere for this kind of price in SD area, also, the utilities are included. One last thing, Cynthia, the manager is the best!!!

I haven't stayed here but reading the reviews alone and seeing they don't except rv's older than 10 years even if in good condition THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE! What about those that have adorable vintage RV's?! This is the cheapest RV park around near SD, but only for the rich? (The ones that can afford a $100,000 cookie cutter motorhome)
