This was my first time experiencing all-you-can-eat sushi and I had a great time. My friend and I had just finished a hike and so we were ravenous for food. Highly recommend their hand rolls salmon skin was my favorite!. They also have the option of making the sushis "Miguel style" which includes a topping of pickled onions and spicy oils. It's different but worth a try!
We had a few different kinds of sushi and all was super, but you’ve got to try the popcorn sushi…that was killer. It was a nice place, good service and next time I’m in Moreno Valley I’m definitely stopping back by.
There can be a bit of wait time if you go on the weekend. Waitresses are attentive. The sushi is simply not prepared well. Sometimes we got good fish and other times we got nasty fish that was hard or completely inedible. The cooks put no effort into making proper rolls. The rice is excessive and the roll is uneven. There’s few options for sushi in Moreno Valley especially AYCE since COVID but I’d suggest you skip this place.
What a great place to get all-you-can-eat sushi. Very inexpensive. You won't get gourmet kinda sushi but it's pretty good. The rolls are almost too big. The price is super good. Staff and waitress are just amazing. Not much to complain here. If you take it for what it is "All you can eat sushi" then it's great.
amazing experience at this restaurant! came with my group who regularly eat sushi except for me so I was a little bit hesitant with what I wanted. our server Nayeli was really sweet and patient with me even when she was extremely busy and suggested a few options for me to try. I LOVED the Baked Salmon roll and we really liked the Popcorn Sushi as an appetizer ! definitely coming back on my own to try more of the food
Always a great experience. Service can sometimes be slow due to how busy they can get, but both the servers and guys in the back do their best to keep up with demand. Sushi is great. It's not my number one but it's closer to first than last in flavor/food quality. Ask for Miguel's Style toppings with any sushi to heat it up!
Worst experience ever. I saw it had good reviews and decided to go. We were excited when we walked in and saw an all you can eat board. My family and I were really hungry and we decided to get it. Unfortunately their all you can eat only applies to a few selection, which doesn’t include all the sushi types and for the price i would of thought the entire menu would of applied. The food itself was mediocre at best. The tuna on the nigiri didn’t taste real like it was fake or really unfresh
The place was clean and the staff were nice and professional, but I was disappointed with the jalapeno bombs they were most likely 2 whole jalapenos cut into 1 inch slices for $7.50. The Oishii sushi place offers a 6piece appetizer jalapeno bombs for $8.95. in addition, at Miguel's when you ask for eel sauce they water down the eel sauce which is noticed. In addition, the Colton tempura barely had any cream cheese in it. I was embarrassed when my son said "isn't there supposed to be cream cheese in it"? Because you couldn't see the cream cheese in the roll. I have eaten at several sushi locations and have not found the restaurants to be skimpy with their plates, but Miguel sushi is which was very disappointing they restrain from putting in more of their ingredients that makes the sushi better. Needless to say, I won't return or refer anyone to eat at Miguel's Sushi.
I came here for the first time last week. We got AYCE sushi and I was a little disappointed. Everything was good but the fish wasn't the highest quality. They accidentally gave us an extra two handrolls though we weren't sure it was extra until we got our order paper back. We all really liked the tempura. I also like that they have more traditional Japanese foods though I didn't try them. Overall everything was good. I just don't think it was good enough or a good enough deal to go again.
The Sushi was on a whole other level of smoky spiciness. 1st place I could enjoy the sushi without having to add sriracha, the portions are also bigger than any other sushi places I been to. The raw sushi, hand rolls and tempura was all phenomenal see you back soon Miguel's.
